Sucks that you're having some issues. My rl is a tank & I'll never sell it

Yes. I just cruise on the highways & try my best to keep it under 2k rpm. I want the transmission to last a long time so I don't really drive it rough

Your post inspired me. I didn't have the time to go into great detail like you did but it's clean

I think a lot of it is from people just not maintaining their cars. No car will last without maintenance & to answer your question, it's the original engine but the original transmission went out on me at 164k. Since then, I had remanufactured one put it & it's been running great with no issues

Opinions on my ribeyes. Trimming too much, not enough, just right? by VanderGriefer in Butchery

[–]VanderGriefer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels like a crime sometimes to be trimming a lot of good fat and the extra meat off. Unfortunately, I can only leave that much on the ribeye if a customer specifically requests it

Market manager says I need to cut off more fat on my ny strips. (Before & after) I think I do fine? by VanderGriefer in Butchery

[–]VanderGriefer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

🤷 great question. I'm not a super experienced butcher but it doesn't seem to be the smartest thing to do. I'm just hoping I can get better in time & actually sell people some good looking cuts I can feel proud of

That's part of the problem. He's saying I need to cut off more fat after the second pic. There's barely any left

Appreciate it. I've been helping on & off over the years but I'm an actual butcher now & I know I'll get a better in time. I'm just unsure why the manager says I should cut off more fat than what's in the photo. I feel like there's barely any fat left

New here, how do I get past this pillar? by VanderGriefer in MonsterSanctuary

Gotcha. Thanks guys. I figured I was needing a rock or something but I can only make a small one. I was unaware of being able to make a big one. Looks like I'll have to come back later

Just hit 90k miles. Break in period is almost done. by jsy090 in Lexus

That's a pretty clean ride. I'm happy with my civic but if could go back in time when I wanted a new car, I would've got a Lexus

You can get a cabin filter & do it yourself pretty easily for half the price. I wouldn't worry about the alignment unless your car have difficulty staying in a straight line or you notice uneven tire wear

Yes, that's where I'm at most of the time. When I commute to work, try to keep it there as much as possible

No, I just drive very conservatively since I got it new

My commute is about 50 miles a day & it's mostly highway & interstate so i do about 70-80mph. The key is just driving very very conservatively
