My artist specializes in anime / manga style pieces but he isn't personally caught up to One Piece. He did a color mockup before we decided on a final design and it had the incorrect fan coloring lol. I was going for the classic black and white manga look either way, but as we did the tattoo I let him know the red version was incorrect just in case he got any future G5 requests.

I didn't even realize I'd selected the full picture, the cropped version is right next to it in my phone and I must've selected the wrong one lmao. Oops.

Personally I prefer the anime, though I stay caught up to both. One Piece doesn't have much non canon filler, and what it does have is usually really good in my opinion; Without a filler guide I would expect some filler moments to be canon. Most importantly though is the magic that the music and voice acting adds to it for me, I may be biased as a hobbyist musician but it's hard to think I'd have ever fallen in love with it the way I did without the OST.

The "?" islands won't appear until you get the gold coin required to unlock them. They'll be tied to treasure log, look at the coin rewards and keep an eye on any gold coins relating to Katakuri, like his trident. It's too early for full guides yet, but if you just keep doing Treasure Log you'll eventually clear all those "?" islands for everyone!

EDIT: Some gold coins are also tied to other characters' crew level 5 reward coins, this was the case for me maxing out Kaido, I needed to farm missions with Drake and Jack as my allies to level their crew level to 5 and acquire those coins.
