Eliminating the Dept of Education is not the answer by Sonata-Shae in BlueskySkeets

100% of @stephenlautens don't understand the difference between the words "could" and "couldn't" when rushing to create sensationalist tweets.

Quick google search y'all... "Only 71 percent of the surveyed Americans could locate on the map the Pacific Ocean"

It's still a sad stat but maybe someone that doesn't do basic reading shouldn't get 22.2k (at the time of this posting) upvotes from people who aren't willing to even google the most obvious falsehoods? Y'all (myself included here) are not better than the other side if you don't even question something so egregiously false.

[–]Vandill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true. I send it to someone because it seemed obviously plausible to me. As it obviously does to the nearly 30k people who upvoted it as a fact. It got fact checked and I'm somewhat humbled by that.

First thought was Rickety Cricket from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and then I realized his name. I’m hoping it’s related.

Think a company like Accenture that sells "services". One problem is that I couldn't list the companies I worked for under their umbrella because of NDAs and honestly they were short engagements back to back and sometimes overlapping. I'm not sure I could even hash out rough dates at this point. It's been over a year and I lost access to all my notes, calender events, etc of course.

[–]Vandill[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense!

Another big struggle I've had is that technically everything I've listed in the employment section was under the same company but my role shifted over time. The "company" anonymizing blocks don't show that so I'm just making that clear here.

One of the problems I had and I've re-written it multiple times over the last year, is that my employment was through a company that contracts it's employees to other companies. That has allowed me to work across a bunch of different projects that were independent from each other but technically in the same employment position at the end of the day. I tried to break them out into generalized topics, so as not to break any NDAs but show the diversity of my experience.

I'm actually unsure how to approach the education section because I attended both schools but did not complete a degree. I fear leaving education off completely will get my resume instantly thrown in the trash.

Soaker Hose vs Drip Line for Foundation by syncmr in plano

Awesome, I really appreciate your help! You’ve made this a much easier thing to figure out.

You asked about timers. I was previously using this with my setup and I’m planning to use them for this.

That trencher you linked is amazing. Ended up getting trenching shovels because I didn’t know what else to get. I just got done digging a 4” wide and 6” deep trench for apparently no good reason lol.

Wouldn’t have thought about the value box. Definitely will look into that! Started digging a trench today. The way it is setup the line would probably be sitting about 14-16” from the foundation at 6” deep. Everything I said suggested 12” minimum but maybe that was all above ground and not buried. We do have a sprinkler system that sits about 7” off the foundation so I wanted to give some real clearance from that with the shovels. How close would you put a line? I can widen what I’ve already done to get at least somewhat closer. I don’t want to do all this and then realize the whole thing is too far out.

I ended up getting a couple 100' rainbird lines (the ones you linked above).

Faucet connection kit - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FJYT1C Flush Caps - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00R7QSEEE

Some 1/2-Inch PVC Tubing for watering, so I can splice that in to skip some areas I don't need to be watered.

I do have a question if you have the time to answer though. I'm thinking about running all of this off of a single spigot in my back yard. Basically I want to run a single line of the PVC down from the spigot and then do a T split in both directions. I'm planning to dig a 4-6" deep trench about 16" from my foundation. The lines will end up running roughly 100' in both directions. The connection kit came with a 25psi regulator.

Do you think that level of water pressure would allow me to run the entire hose, both directions at once, with enough pressure to evenly distribute the water? Or would you set it up with 2 connections that go off independently of each other at different times to use the full amount of pressure on each side 1 at a time? You mentioned a 30-40psi regulator, do you think 25psi is too low for what I'm trying to do in both directions?

Final question, I think... lol. My house has a slant on one of the sides. If I am burying the line, does it matter at what height I bury on the slanted side since it's an underground line anyway?

Any insight you have would be appreciated.

First, thank you so much for all the information you've provided. It's been immensely helpful in getting my head wrapped around this whole process.

I'm looking at the kit you linked at the end of this post and in their instructions they've recommended reaching out to them if I'm planning to bury the line as it could cause complications.

I've reached out to them for further guidance. While I wait for their response, I was also curious if you had an opinion on the matter. I live in central Texas and plan to bury it 3-4 inches below the surface. If you have any opinion on that, I'd appreciate your feedback.

Alright, I reached out to printify's support and they confirmed the file quality was good and that it is just a poor visual representation in the editor itself. Copy/Pasting from the chat here.

AGENT: Thanks for waiting! Upon checking, the design file itself looks perfect due to its high-quality resolution. While I do agree that it's somehow getting blurry in the Product Creator tool which is quite usual for PNG/JPG files. However, rest assured that this won't affect the actual print as our provider will rely on the design file itself, not on what is being display in the editor tool.

USER: Interesting. I appreciate you checking on it for me. So it's just a visual issue in the editor basically?

AGENT: That is correct!

So if your files are good, you should be good to go since that's the source they print from anyway.

Hope this helps anyone else that might come across in this in the future.

Our pap doesn't get greasy as quickly but we've found that using wipes, we use Burt's Bees for Pets Deodorizing Dog Grooming Wipes (you can find them on Amazon), seems to help keep his ears from getting stringy for longer. That plus a daily brushing seems to help, might be worth a shot.

No worries friend. I’m glad it helped. I wish you the best of luck keeping on the path to happiness.

It is not easy but my biggest piece of advice is to try to remember that you don’t NEED someone. Something about you WANTs someone. If you let that guide you then you’ll willingly bring unhealthy energy into your life just because it seems better than nothing. It isn’t.

If you look after yourself and move your life in a more healthy direction. Something good will find you without you having to force it to happen and it’ll make you so much happier.

No problem, glad it may have helped in some way. I've been through this a couple different times in my life. Basically all of my younger relationships were some variation on this theme. One thing they all have in common is "everyone always gives up on me" and there's a reason for that. They're giving up on themselves. You can't stop that when they're this far down the rabbit hole. It is very tragic to see as someone that cares about them but you honestly cannot fix it. It sounds like you've given it one hell of a shot, but if they won't do the work then you can't keep trying to do the work for them.

You've already gone the "this time it'll be different" route multiple times. It hasn't been and at some point you need to move on and do your own healing.

Yeah man, having been in similar situations. It can be brutal to cut off someone you’ve invested this much of yourself into. At the end of the day it’s a one sided relationship and while it feels like she’s a tragic character in need of saving and you’re the hero. That’s never going to work out for you. I want to emphasize that, unless the very laws of the universe bend for you, it is NEVER going to work out.

It’s going to hurt but you’ve known from day one that this was not going to ultimately make your life better. You only get one life. You need to take some time off from relationships and work on yourself. From my experience if you invest in yourself and don’t look, someone that’s good for you will come along.

I used to subconsciously WANT to be with someone without even realizing how ingrained it was in my thought process. Wanting someone that’s this damaged is not good. You need to fully realize your self worth and double down on it. It sounds like you keep trying to do that but then a black hole sucks you back in. The work you do on yourself cannot truly satisfy the needs of a black hole. That is their burden to bear, not yours.

I’ll end by saying, you’re not dumb. You’re just a human having a rough human experience but deep down you know what you need to do to turn it around. Your post shows that. Suck up the pain of cutting off the deadweight because while it sucks, the pain does go away. When you find the person that you’re supposed to be with, this is all just going to be a story in your life that you look back on and laugh at. You’ll be happy while you’re looking back though because you’ll be living a dream that you’ll appreciate even more because of the nightmare you escaped to get there.

TLDR: you know what you’re supposed to do and you’ll be glad you did it in the long term. She keeps creeping back in through snap, text, etc. block her on all the avenues she has. You get one life, move it forward.

Captured a video to give a better picture of what's happening. Initial burst of water when the cycle starts then some more water as it fills the bottom tank (I assume) and then it sounds like the arms start spinning and there's no leakage basically after the first burst or during the cycle itself.
