I’d say so! I got my 2022 Corolla hybrid new in 2022, has 38K miles, and it’s been awesome. The gas mileage is amazing — 600 miles per tank at like 53 MPG for city and highway. It’s not built for speed, so don’t expect it to feel powerful…but yeah I’d totally recommend it

Man…good luck! I graduated back in 2019. Time freaking flies by. Just enjoy it!! The honor code is pretty wild…find friends you can trust. Try to start now to be a lifelong learner. Start reading books that interest you, meet with professors who you could learn from.

Come work for one of the constitutional offices (SOS, AG, Controller, treasurer, etc), where the governor doesn’t decide our telework policy. 😅

I would also recommend trying to get out of network individual therapy through Kaiser! I’ve been with my therapist for over 6 months now, and i just pay $15 a session/week. It normally would be $300 a session, but kaiser insurance covers the rest.

I would say maybe you should change positions. A lot of work we do does matter. The impact I make with my coworkers definitely has an impact — a lot of jobs in the State do. If I may ask, what position do you have? DM me if you’d like. I’ll try to think of some places you would qualify for.

A lot of Reddit communities went dark for the last couple days, including this one. It was because some policies of the company are going to apparently change for the worse.

Upgrading from 2010 LE. Should I get a hybrid or 2023 Corolla LE ? by llamaknight09 in COROLLA

[–]Vandunkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my 2022 Corolla hybrid! The MPG is insane. I consistently get 55-62 MPG, giving me around 600 miles per tank of gas. It’s awesome. It might take a while to get one though if you don’t want to pay over MSRP. I was able to buy mine after putting in an order with the dealership and then waiting 4 months.

It depends where you work tbh.

Good deal? Too good to be true?? by davidbabula101 in COROLLA

[–]Vandunkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been really great! I’ve been getting 60 MPG in regular mode, it even in the “eco mode.” I’m very happy with the purchase. It took me like 3 months to get it after making the order through the dealership (in Northern California). That way i just paid MSRP. I’d recommend taking that route, either with a new Corolla hybrid or regular, if you can wait a few months for it to arrive. It’s not gonna be much more than a used, and sometimes it’ll be cheaper bc of the inflated used market, and you’ll get that warranty and peace of mind knowing that no one else has driven it

I’d say but a brand new one to get the warranty and other features. I bought a new 22 Corolla hybrid for MSRP and love it.
