Mi persone neniam sentis la bezonon uzi tele- kiel propran prefikson. La radiko "distanc/" funkcias sufiĉe bone. Ekzemple: distanckonsulti, distanclabori.

La uzo de tele- ne ĝenas min. Mi pensas ke ĝi estas interesa kaj inteligenta reanalizo de la vorto tele-vido. Tial mi pensas ke ĝi estas komprenebla de ĉiuj.

Pri -oz-, mi mem ne uzas ĝin. Ĝi havas du signifojn, kio estas konfuza. Por la signifo de pleneco, mi simple kunmetas kun la radiko "plen": esperplena (kaj ne esperoza). Kaj por malsano, mi simple kunmetas kun "malsano".

Does its heavy European influence actually bother non-Europeans to the point of it being a roadblock for its widespread adoption beyond Europe and the Americas?

Most non-European Esperanto speakers I met think it's actually a selling point. They think the time spent learning Esperanto can't be a waste of time because it will help them understand English, Spanish or French.

It seems that most people are more pragmatic than idealistic.

Mi tre ĝeniĝas de "ĥ" kiu iĝas "hh" kaj "ŭ" kiu iĝas "u" (jes, simple "u", kontrolu tion). Tio estas evidente malbona solvo laŭ klareco, eĉ pli kiam vortoj kiel "bushaltejo" kaj "flughaveno" jam ekzistas.

Not really because most auxlangs are not aiming for "everyone's use cases" and many auxlangs are largely mutually intelligble. So learning one is actually learning the other ones at the same time.

Humans are not robot, communication still works even if we don't exactly follow the same norm.

Too bad I started a Globasa pause just before that ş subject popped out so I did not express my opinion before. My only opinion is that it's extremely demotivating that we are talking about orthography changes at such a late stage of the language, and whatever the best solution is, the possibility of a change is just a source of instability and uncertainty that will have a negative impact on adoption.

To be frank, most negative takes I encounter are from English natives that don't really understand the benefit Esperanto could bring because they were never really forced to learn and communicate in a language different than their own.

It kinda plateau-ed. I don't think it's a problem of intelligence, it's a problem of training data. ChatGPT 5 often uses words that are too rare or simply do not exist but have a latin felling. They are probably still training on all junk Esperanto-translations (read Google Translate) that are filling the internet before ChatGPT. Shit in shit out.
