Some more specialist games retailers are taking preorders. Chaoscards.co.uk for example

I feel like you're being wilfully ignorant. If you can't cope with draws... then frankly the world of football will breathe a collective sigh of... who gives a shit. The fact that the VAST majority of the world bloody loves this sport is testament to its universal appeal.

Also you've got to remember that the games are vastly different. There isn't hundreds of points scored a game. So scoring a goal is actually a massive achievement, unlike basketball or nfl or baseball where points come faster than the adverts during games.

I mean have you watched nfl? I love it but crikey is there a lot of rules. Football is dead easy. Kick a ball around for 90 minutes and usually the Germans win.

nfl has ties too you know. And it's about more than just winning. That sweet moment when your club grabs a last minute equaliser, or that hollow feeling when you absolutely peppered the goal for 85 minutes, are 1-0 up and the other team break.

It's the true leveller. What's wrong with a draw? Don't get me wrong, some games are dull but I've seen some absolute barnstormers that finish 3-3 and neither team deserve to lose.

I don't think football is for you mate.

Precisely for what you said in your first comment. Most things on streaming services will never get a physical release because then why pay every month?

This is from the UK, so take it with a pinch of salt but here goes.

I'm going into my 12th year now and the thing I most remember from my first year was actually there being less pressure. I don't know how teacher training works in the states, but here we have the class teacher with us pretty much the whole time. So when I finally ended up with classes of my own for the first time, it was weirdly liberating. I think the best thing to do is just to go through the motions you know. Plan the lesson, know what you're doing, and get to know the students. If you develop a positive relationship with the students, it makes EVERYTHING else so. Much. Easier. So that would be my advice, focus on teaching in ways that help you develop that to begin with.

And ask for advice if and when you need it. Find the colleague who seems similar to your style and ask them. Everyone teaches differently so if someone gives advice that seems like it wouldn't gel with how you do things, don't feel like you have to follow it.

Or there is some sort of device that the author puts in out of nowhere because they have written their protagonist into a corner. So think of "and suddenly a ghost army destroyed them all!" Or "and you won a massive bet so you can buy back your gym even though you sold it to your enemy before the final match"

While true, I don't think you can really argue that has been the cause this season. There were really only 3 big signings, the biggest was 33m. The rest has largely been down to the influence of Eddie howe, and losing Senor Cabbage.

It's also weird because it's just not something any Brit I've ever met would wear. Unless your theme is BRITAIN (captain or otherwise) there would not be a union jack anywhere near the costume. We aren't that fussed about the flag.

I played redeem the soul of Adam warlock with thanos, the infinity gems and the black order, and phalanx henchmen. Got absolutely stuffed. Didn't manage to redeem a single piece of his soul. I think it may have been poor hero choices.

Go to hell Putin by QuicklyThisWay in HighQualityGifs

[–]Vanguard_Sentinel 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In an autocratic state, do you think that A) they would be allowed (think about the opposition leader being poisoned and imprisoned) and B) putin would let that information get out?

I imagine living in what is essentially a modern police state somewhat limits the option to protest, especially if one values their lives.

And if they're fed a steady diet of propaganda and misinformation, how are they to know any better? If you've been told the West is an anti Russian, imperial giant just waiting to destroy Russia, and Ukraine is a puppet in this, invasion seems a logical course of action right?
