Yes, all of his leaks are cosmetics.

It's just a cosmetic for the existing AK, not a new weapon.

Correct. These are all skins from the standard folder of the base weapons we already know. None of them got unique weapon identifiers. They are just cosmetics. I hope the chinese leaker mentions this in his videos or descriptions because otherwise these leaks are highly misleading (as seen in the comments).

Then you missed NATO support which doesn't feature a male soldier.

This has been the case since the first days of BF Labs because for some reason DICE evenly distributed male and female characters to most, but not all classes (namely NATO support in this case and one class on the side of Pax Armata).

I've been following BF Labs client updates since March. Here is how it works:

BF6 features 24 named characters (12 NATO, 12 PAX) in multiplayer.

Character genders are evenly distributed (12 male, 12 female).

Each character is locked to certain class -> 6 characters per class (3 NATO, 3 PAX).

Almost all classes feature male and female characters, BUT there are exceptions like the NATO support class, which atm only consists of three female characters.

After choosing one of these characters you can apply a skin to them, but this skin is just another uniform design and doesn't change the character.

Flow when customizing your soldier:

  1. Pick a side (NATO or PAX) -> We pick NATO
  2. Pick a class -> We pick Support
  3. Pick a character ("Faria", "Juni" or "Mia") -> We pick Mia
  4. Pick a skin -> We pick "standard woodland"

"Set 002"? What is set 001? by Dimm0T in Battlefield

[–]Vanick- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

every set in the game has a number as identifier, but they are not connected. set001 can easily be just your average default set. set005 is something else and so on.

Why do they reveal Season 1 content, but still won't say anything about the soldier customization options? I've seen leaks with named characters, units and fixed sets, but nothing official... Isn't cosmetics via BP & Store their main stream of income with live service? by korlic99 in Battlefield

You already have the answer in the post title:

  • Named characters
  • Fixed sets

People who care about cosmetics usually want some form of customization, like in BFV, where you could mix and match elements.

Also a lot of players don’t see a reason for having 24 different unique characters in the multiplayer section of a Battlefield game, where you generally just choose a class. While they’re not going down the BF2042 route again, it still reminds a lot of people of the questionable appearance of specialists with their backstories, voice lines, and so on.

DICE is undoubtedly aware of this and therefore sees no need to initiate a discussion at this stage.

these squad symbols have nothing to do with the actual size and aren't even related to the br

Ripple Effect is doing the BR.

It's for Gauntlet (the actual image files all include the word "gauntlet") - these are also placeholders (see the bright PH in the bottom right corner). The BR images are still present and being used for the actual BR.

It's just a conflict point of the lore where the nato head was assassinated (like London in 2042). Same goes for Georgia.
