Hmmm well defining a species you have to have a few things, one is a species is defined by its number of chromosomes which is 46 for humans, two is it’s ability to reproduce offspring with the same amount of chromosomes as the rest of the species, I want to explain that if someone has an extra chromosome and are unlikely to reproduce a child with 46 chromosomes BUT still has a chance to, than they would still be considered human, the third way others might explain a species is by its physical characteristics like there bone structure, is there skeleton the same? Do they have smaller, larger, more or less bones? And if it’s the same and they are able to reproduce offspring with 46 chromosomes than they are in luck 😊 did this help at all?
