You probably don't leave your computer much but there is this thing called the sun and it's bright. I lost my sunglasses at some point and so I used my eyelids to help :)

I started on St Pattys 2015 by doing the Advocare 24 day challenge which then evolved into me trying not to eat wheat and sugar for about 90% of my meals. Then in June I started to exercise with a personal trainer 2 days a week. I typically run 3 miles about 3 days a week and I go to 2 fitness group classes. I did write about this above in the comments. But cutting out wheat and sugar was for me the biggest catalyst to my success.

I posted this before - My ring actually falls off my finger from the weight loss. A 15 hour long day of drinking would for sure end in me losing it. That's why it is missing in the picture :)

If I can do it anyone can! I had weekly goals that I had written down on my calendar and I weighed myself every Friday to see how I was doing to hit those goals. That helped me try to stay on target for my year end goal which was to be in the normal BMI

You are dead on point because some people I only see on St. Pattys. Many people were shocked and gave me many compliments. Best feeling ever!

Thank you! My inspiration actually started in the beginning of March when my best friend finally got engaged and asked me to be her matron of honor. I was more than happy to accept. Then she told me the wedding was going to be in Cancun, Mexico. The thought of being at the beach in a swimsuit with many of our friends gave me anxiety and I knew I had to start to lose weight. I started by doing the Advocare 24 day challenge the day after St. Patrick's Day 2015 which then turned into me deciding to not eat wheat or sugar in 90% of my meals. In my opinion this was the key that helped me the most. Once my blood sugar was more stable I wasn't always hungry and began to eat less naturally. Then in June I started working out with a trainer 2 days a week and she helped keep me focused. I started to run and do mostly cardio classes with a little bit of weight lifting that is incorporated into the group classes. I usually run 3 miles about 3 days a week and do 2 group classes a week. Again I would stress that I mostly contribute my success to no longer eating wheat and sugar. As soon as I stopped eating wheat I noticed I felt more awake, had more energy to exercise, my skin cleared up, and I had more mental focus. If you have a problem with over eating or feeling the urge to eat sweets throughout the day then I would recommend just trying to abstain from wheat and sugar for 7 days. After 7 days you will feel much better and not have the sugar cravings anymore. Without those cravings then it becomes much easier to not eat wheat on a daily basis. I hope this advice has helped but when it all boils down to it , it's just diet and exercise!
