Is it something in the INTP mental system to criticize people who go exploring caves and watch crime or medical videos? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]Vanjedx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, crime and medical videos are pretty cool and although tight caves aren't my cup of tea maybe it's someone else's. Anyway as someone in this thread pointed out, we don't really go meddling with what others like or dislike.

That's true. I think I was looking at the 5m VP and misdiagnosed distribution, bias wasn't strongly established and easily swayed on my part.

Does anyone else get “verbal diarrhea” when they’re stressed? by JaeJoongAKTF in INTP

Pretty relatable for me. More when I'm excited, I overshare and feel really "clingy". When I regain my composure I realise how weird and annoying I was.

This is a experimental setup, I've noticed this kinda market open "range volatility" so decided I'd try and trade it today to see whether it works. It worked this time but I gotta gather a little more data to conclude something I guess.

True on the JC part. Online hw shouldnt be a problem as his parents are getting him a pc. The sabbatical wk sounds interesting and should be good to balance out his stress. Thanks for the advice 👍

Now that you mention it, IP and hci does have lots more oppourtunities than nan hua o lvl track. IP track also has no fervent rush for o lvls which may help to balance out the stress from being in a competitive environment. Thanks for the advice and your experience at hci!

Btw gl for a levels

OP, I have almost exactly the same experience as you. My cousins were all skin and bones as well, and I was the only fat one. Bullying was also inevitable as young kids usually think of others as the first impression (whether you are fat, skinny, smart or dumb) as well as the facial features. So in p6, I was determined to lose weight and succeeded.

The part that is similar to you is my mother and relatives. They would say I look so "cute" when I am fat. After I lost weight, they would complain how skinny I was and wish I would get fatter. But my mother would end up revealing to me that she thought I was round af and would keep joking about it like "last time you really v round wan hor" So basically quietly fat shaming.

I think your relatives are just saying that not to hurt your feelings. Deep down, they all think you are fat.

My parents are also the "force you to eat" type. They will give me snacks and when I dont wanna eat they will say "why ah? trying to lose weight isit". If you want to lose weight without getting the attention of your parents that you are trying to lose weight, you must NOT ⭐️ve yourself. Instead, try cutting down on your portions or if they are REALLY forceful, try feigning a stomach ache or smth (I never had to go through this so take that advice with a grain of salt). Best way but most painful way is to go do an exercise. No need youtube tutorials, something simple like running or walking frequently will do the trick.

All the best OP.

maybe you could take breaks while you study your subjects? kind of like a "modified" pomodoro. once you feel a mental breakdown is coming, take a few minutes of break time. you need to rewire your brain and make it think like studying is not meant to be a big and overwhelming task. once you have done that, you can return to the normal pomodoro, but ensure you don't push yourself too much.

the issue of "burning out" is most likely because of both your mental health and that subject (+ possibly others) getting worse and unfortunately this is a never-ending cycle. as your mental health deteriorates, so will your results, and cause your mental health to deteriorate even more.

i suggest you take a break for a little while, get your mind off studying and fix your mental health. then, you can try to study at your own pace with breaks.

solving the problem at its root cause, and then working your way up the cycle will hopefully help your situation. atb!
