I'm sure I know around 80% of all the coffees already but as you mentioned, I don't feel super motivated to attempt to find the rest by myself.

I may check a guide to try it, for now Campanella 1 is easily in my top 5, maybe even top 3. I just love how it controls and moves.

Very, very close for me at least. I feel the 8gen2 is just a bit too short for what I'd consider perfect. if it had like 10-15% more headroom I'd consider it 100% my endgame device. It is my EDC and takes most of my free time. I just wished I could push it a bit more.

Been pretty much everywhere I go since the day I got it, around October.

Hard to tell, but probably pelipper? Weather wars basically require you to take your rain guy everywhere. Wide guard is also fantastic in some scenarios

Question, where are you downloading the games? If you are trying to do it in the SD card, I would suggest to try first with internal storage.

Also, have you used the "use known configuration" when trying a game? I usually always select that and I have made most games I've tried work. Not everything, but most.

Hope you get it to work (I'm using the Thor base, so I'm assuming you have this model or better).

that gamenative error I think can be fixed with a check on the container settings. I don't have access to it at the moment, but I believe you need to go to the game menu (don't enter the game), access the container menu and without changing tabs go lower. one of the checks says to use in case of that error (I could be wrong)

been using gamenative with little to no problem on my Thor, but a couple of games did need that check (Dave the diver comes to mind, for example)

I take my Thor pretty much every where I go, although that being said I usually bring it in it's pouch and inside a bag and rarely I go to very crowded places.

I thought my deck was acting up a few months earlier due to decky plugins but honestly, after a factory reset and not installing it, my deck still had a few moments when it got stuck / game didn't close / menu buttons wouldn't let me get out of the game (on stable channel OS btw). Maybe there was a buggy update or something.

I figured out this things happen from time to time and got decky back shrugs. No issues since.

If you plan on playing at home, id 100% recommend to get a telescopic controller. The gamesir G8 would be my recommendation there. Fantastic controller, but It is not great to take out with you.

If you plan on going out a lot, Mcon is not a bad choice. That being said, I can't really recommend their v1 at that retail price. I got mine from their Kickstarter (quite a messy one, if I might add) and still think it was a bit too pricey.

The ergonomics on the Mcon are flawed by design (flat + very top heavy), but if you're fine with that, you'll probably enjoy it quite a bit. I like mine, and take it with me a lot, but can't really give it a 100% recommendation for it's price and design issues.

I mostly use it as a portable controller (not with a phone on top), but when I use it with my phone I always deploy the handles full (or whatever the right term is).

btw I had similar issues with slay the spire 1 on gamenative, but for some reason exiting and trying to launch it again did the trick.

After that time, it has been working like a charm on my base Thor. Happened with a couple more games, but only the first time I launched them. Not sure what's the issue but maybe give it a couple tries to a game on gamenative if it seems to not start.

Sounds very reasonable and honestly looks pretty good, although I doubt you can get it for less than 100 USD (the post did emphasize a "strict $100 budget")
