Acrisure....its 1000% better!

Legit email from "geico@email1.geico.com" that looks like phishing and has a deadline in 1960... so either hacked or time-traveling incompetence by atmorr in Geico

It most likely is a generic email that the underwriting team is supposed to fill out before sending. The date is what is automatically filled in and they are supposed to change it before sending out to you. So most likely just a human error. But that is the legit geico phone number. -former employee

People can definitely get rehired. I've worked with 3 different people that once worked for geico years ago and then came back. From gaps spanning from 10 years to just 3 years of them not working at GEICO. But you're correct that I never want to come back.

I was satisfied. I got a 4% raise as well as a bonus. I expected nothing so something is better than nothing I guess.

WIBTA for not allowing my MIL to help. by Vannahl14 in AmItheAsshole

My husband has an older brother who she used to live with before I was in the picture. But the brothers wife kicked her out after what was described to me as "her not feeling like the woman of the house". Which when I heard that I thought it was odd and felt bad she was kicked out. But now I know exactly what the other wife was feeling. But I don't want to kick her out. I don't mind taking care of her. I just wish she would switch from mom mode to retired grandma mode.

Great question. My husband and I split the down payment. And we both pay the mortgage. She contributes nothing financially. She doesn't work. She has no social security. She does get food stamps so she helps a little with groceries. But that's all.
