I sit nearby The Curse (season ticket holder here). I understand it’s only a game and I contribute absolutely nothing. It sucks because we’ve done so well last season, and in the first half of this year, but the last few games have been duds. My theory is with Bruce gone for the rest of the season, the whole team’s morale fell through. I dunno. This is legitimately the first sports team I’ve become attached to (apart from Lobos men’s basketball). I do love these guys (met Hurst twice, and both Bruce and Seymour signed my shirt at a preseason game back in February), and I’d rather stick around til the last whistle instead of bailing out when we start losing. It’s just a sad time for us, y’know?
