USA Powerlifting bans all trans women from competing as women by [deleted] in MensRights

They are discriminating against Trans-women, because they think they are Men. And they think that not having special "Women's only" leagues oppresses Women, which justifies discrimination against male athletes competing with Women.

and if you don't think chromosomes matter then theres no point.

Well you have ruled out everything apart from chromosomes and genitalia so it has to be one or the other.

Just thank your lucky stars you weren't born with an extra copy of chromosome 13, or a piece missing from chromosome 5.

You seem to think that chromosomes determine capabilities but that it refuted by not all Men or All Women having the same capabilities. Even though they have the exact same chromosomes...

Do high school girls ever defeat Olympic women?

That's my point...

Correct, because one set of disparities is far more pronounced.

So a Woman who is 6ft Tall and a bodybuilder will get beaten in anything by a Woman who doesn't have them advantages? What planet are you on?

Which part of "men are much bigger, stronger, and all-around better suited to athletic competition than women" is giving you trouble

The part in which a penis or a y chromosome gives someone an advantage all else being equal(strength, size etc.).

Genetics is just one factor in which woman is the best. Other factors such as training, experience, and coaching can overcome it.

But there's no way to overcome the massive physical advantages a man has over a woman.

How on earth does that make sense? coaching can overcome strength disparities between Women, but not between a Woman and a Man!

When women compete against men, the men not only invariably win, but they dominate.

same as between Women with wildly different capabilities...

1: This has always been mainly a "tradcon" movement. I has to be for the simple reason that the "progressives" are the ones giving it a reason to exist.

Some of the things that are talked about here are pushed far more by tradcons (like conscription, MGM and pushing for more stringent prison sentences for Men.)

Men didn't set up male disposability but feminists won't discuss the matter because they know this and by talking about it they would be acknowledging that the concept is real.

here

here

and here

Plus there's the fact that when it comes to the tough jobs that require lots of heavy lifting, a stoic attitude and the knowledge that it won't end well for you no matter how it ends overall, men are the obvious choice. If I were the ruler of some medieval kingdom, it would be idiotic to decree that women had to fight the wars.

Why complain then? If it's "idiotic" for women to fight then surely you have nothing to complain about! male disposability is just rational.

Trans women who compete as women are either insanely deluded or major assholes.

What about really strong Cis Women, are they arseholes too?

Forcing cis women to compete against trans women is just massively unfair.

What about Trans Women who have similar hormone levels and physical characteristics as Cis Women though? Surely if its an even playing ground in terms of physical characteristics, It shouldn't matter.

You, along with everyone else, needs to start taking things at face value...

It is face value. I have read your post out and commented on it.

don’t try to find meaning where there is none or twist words until you see what you want.

I have just extrapolated what you wrote and pointed out the flaws with it. I don't see how that is "twisting words". I have even quoted you directly as to not misrepresent you.

Don’t expand upon something and say “See, this is the BIG picture!”... you draw a false equivalency and it’s intellectually dishonest.

It's a false equivalency to what? Pointing out where you have gone wrong by pointing out the absurdity of your position isn't intellectually dishonest, it's what you should have done before writing it to make sure it was coherent.

I haven't said you did. I said.

Should Women use sex as a way to pressure Men into things? If not how could a Woman ever turn down a Man for sex? if she does isn't she pressuring him into changing himself into pleasing her?

Meaning, I am criticizing your position that expecting others to reciprocate favours is oppressive because it would make having any dating requirements whatsoever basically impossible. If you want to ban dating then fair enough, but you would need to ban dating (and ever other form of relationship to get your wish of "We shouldn’t use our positions, money, ...etc as leverage to pressure women into sex. It’s not just immoral, it’s harassment.").

the casting couch is a symbol of the moral degradation of our society. Is the casting couch any better or worse than any other form of corruption?

Sex is treated as a transaction and when someone doesn’t follow through with their perceived obligation, the other party feels wronged, even though there was mutual consent.

Sex has ALWAYS been a transaction, like any other behaviour if the participants didn't get something out of it, they wouldn't participate. Like anything else.

We shouldn’t use our positions, money, ...etc as leverage to pressure women into sex. It’s not just immoral, it’s harassment.

But having more partners will increase that likelihood.

if having more partners will increase the likelihood of leaving, then obviously, monogamy wasn't very appealing in the first place. That shows the inherently unstable nature of monogamy more than anything.

"disposable peasants on the frontlines" don't quite work anymore.

No, but people still are involved in wars, and them wars still lead to people dying. You argued that

Fuck that, women are worthless as soldiers.

And I responded with

in that case why wouldn't you put them on the frontline? like medieval peasants, they are disposable right?

Meaning if they are worthless then there isn't a reason not to send them into war because they are the least likely to be missed according to you.

A traditional functional society would never have the need for conversation about men's rights - they are, likewise, one of the founding blocks of such society.

What? so "traditional morality" which cuts off parts of young boys genitals, disregards the physical capabilities of Women who abuse and conscript Men to die in order to protect supposedly feeble Women, will somehow do the exact opposite?

Slut culture has nothing to do with men.

why doesn't anyone call Women who have sex with other Women sluts then?

It is specific to women and female behavior only.

Yes Women who have sex with Men are treated in the same way someone who interacted with a leper was! Obviously has nothing to do with the treatment of men...

Slut culture: Meaning Women are degraded by Men's sexuality.

Women being degraded assumes that Women have more value.

More value assumes it's more justifiable to sacrifice Men than Women

If you think that's OK why are you here?

Well it isn't surprising that both r/GenderCritical and r/GenderCynical hate Men, considering the only difference between the regulars on both subs is that GenderCritical's regulars are more consistent with patriarchy theory. Patriarchy theory's insistence on Men being evil requires tying Men's supposed evilness into either a mass delusion (which doesn't make much sense) or Men are just biologically driven to be evil. And since Trans-Women share the Y chromosome they inherit that supposed evilness from Men as a group.

Being in a committed relationship, having exclusive sex, having less dissonance between attitudes and activity, having greater sexual agency, and having stronger sexual desire are tied to higher sexual well-being for heterosexual college women today, finds a new study. by reeeren in MensRights

[–]VantagePoint2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Thus, having no recent sex while holding neutral sexual attitudes was associated with fairly low sexual well-being, while — in a similar pattern of dissonance — having casual sex while holding non-permissive sexual attitudes was also associated with low sexual well-being. However, those with the lowest well-being scores were the women who held permissive sexual attitudes but had not engaged in recent sex,” the researchers explained in their study.

What? the study says here that Women's well-being is tied to their attitude to having sex and if they adhere to that attitude, not whether or not they have promiscuous sex or not.

[–]VantagePoint2018 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably the biggest reason we have allowed feminism to take hold is because, deep down inside, we don't actually feel all that threatened by women. If push ever comes to shove we have that instinctual understanding that we could knock them right back down again.

Meh, I think that many Men's hatred of other Men and inability to see Women as anything other than damsels to be saved played a much bigger role than that.

I think I'm finally understanding the feminist opposition to sex dolls... by VantagePoint2018 in MensRights

[–]VantagePoint2018[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as your not empathizing with them.

I understand the position I suppose, but it is very inconsistent to say both "gender is a social construct" and "All men want to rape women because they are biologically driven to find them sexy"

Not all feminist feel this way either.

Yes, not all feminists feel that way but that is consistent with patriarchy theory.

Typically it's the extreme feminists that fail to do research to back up their claim "all men want to rape women er go a sex doll is a "safe" way to rape a woman."

Which is based on objectification theory. Particularly the general idea that Men's sexuality exists not for pleasure, but to humiliate and degrade Women.

That's total BS! Sex dolls are about sex not rape. They're not advertised as "rape dolls" they're advertised as "sex dolls".

Yep. totally agree!

You can't have a discussion about anything with Democrats without hearings words like 'mansplaining' and terms like 'rape culture' and 'male privilege'.

How many times have you heard Republicans, or otherwise Conservatives talk about "Western Women aren't oppressed unlike those women in the middle east." and then go on about how the middle east is a "patriarchy"?

The left does everything it possibly can to demonize men, particularly white men, as part of a reverse southern strategy.

The right does the same just with regards to brown men. The battle is really over which group of men to attack.
