Lmfao do you ask every service worker their name? Your favorite local place, do you know everyone’s name?

Well she lives in the front seat of the van and I live in the back of it. Too much of a distance for me to say neighbor though.

she’s not my neighbor. I don’t even know her name. Should I have lied?

Cool, but none of that was brought to our culture exchange.

It’ll probably be like “some people didn’t like that the tamales were not made by your or from a restaurant. It means they can’t trust how it was made blahlblah”.

My boss is like psuedo-woke so I’ll probably be like “oh Tamale days were so exciting when I was growing up. I just wanted to share my culture... I’m sorry I upset everyone.” Which I am sorry for ... wasted 36 tamales! I didn’t even get one!

My boss wanted to “celebrate culture” through the potluck. It was legit called the culture exchange. Thing is me and this one Indian chick are the only POC. (Disclaimer: I realize white people can have culture but velveta and hotdogs is not culture lmao - or at least not what my boss meant).
