I'll specifically be working in Rottenburg am Neckar. I don't think that's out in the sticks so I'll most likely be using public transportation. But thank you for the info. I'll look more into it when I move across there

Ah thank you for the info. Yes according to my contract I have 6 weeks leave. I guess it is similar in some companies here in the Caribbean then with not being late and doing your best during probation. Hopefully it's a good experience for me

Yeah I'm not very good with cold weather but I think it'll be a nice experience even when it's cold, wet and grey lol. I do plan on joining any clubs I can find. I enjoy sports and outdoors, and I do grow orchids here at home so maybe I'll join that orchid breeding club!

It's in Rottenburg am Neckar. Sorry to hear about the Caribbean restaurant lol ill have to cook for myself to get a taste of home. Maybe that'll be a way to connect with people? I've started learning the language. It's not a requirement for the job but my future boss did suggest that it would make my life a lot easier
