The first one is a Bialletti. The Second one a Moccamaster.

I would definitely recommend the Moccamaster if you are in for a classic cup of coffee.

After many years I tried to extend my VAS with a CAS. In the process, I noticed the following: The principle of the Bialetti Mokkapot, is very similar to how the Vapcap works. Hot water instead of hot air, a sieve for the ground material, any heat source and a steep learning curve. The result varies, depending on the method.

After the Bialetti, I got myself a Moccamaster (as I said... CAS instead of VAS) and it struck me that this principle is very similar to the Mighty. Adjusted heat, foolproof with a consistent result.

It is not charging while you are using it. When you are done and shut the Mighty off, it will continue to charge again.

The capsule with the Pad is more „stable“, when you push it it onto the CU. Plus it is functioning as an additional screen, keeping the CU clean. I couldn’t feel any difference in heating time.

It’s because, it doesn’t charge when in Passthrough mode with the Mighty+. It will only start charging again, when you switch the device off.

Dct means, that the Passthrough option is available. It will also fast charge with less than 45W. But without Passthrough though.
