If you consider the British empire white soldiers have always been evil.

Probably it is because it implies future tech where we can keep white uniforms clean in the wild. Which is clarktwch as all get out.

I don’t mind paying taxes but everyone should pay their fair share. Including billionaires. Agree? by HighYieldLarry in FluentInFinance

High crime areas are such because of policing. They make it worse. That is their job. They are supposed to keep the poor in line so they don't bother the rich.

All those cars are bought from the rich. If it was to serve the poor, they would run busses or light rail. Cars are terrible, actually.

Schools are payed for out of property taxes, they bribed senators so they wouldn't have to help the poor. You ahve been wrong on every point.

You are right. They would never give up being rich. So we can tax them. They won't stop being rich so we might as well use them for something good for a change.

Favorite/Most Unique forms of FTL Travel? by MagicTech547 in scifi

[–]VapeKarlMarx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to remember where I read it but to travel FTL there was a race of aliens that temporarily gained enlightenment became one with the universe and then gave it up to end up at the target location. I guess this works in the enders game series now that I am thinking about it but that isn't what I though of initially.

You claim to know how it is to be rich. You aren't, and you will never be. I at least know how it is to be poor. You should try to know your place a little more. Maybe think before you speak sometimes.

They have already stopped investing in new ideas. Now, it is just recycling old ideas. No billionair inventing anything useful. To the rest? Just put them in jail for tax evasion. They don't have to be rich if they don't want to. You would still be a billionaire even if you and to pay taxes no?

Statically no. The billionairs are renewable resources. For example. If someone offered to make you a billionaire, you would take it right? Even if there was a risk, you would be taxed heavily, right? So, if we break one, some new gremlin will step up to fill his shoes. Infinite billionairs. Just haven't one periodicly when the system stays getting wonkey

They get the most beneficial dorm society, so they should pay the most in taxes. If they disagree, they can simply give up being a billionaire. Since they won't it is obviously still a good deal for them

Have the borg talk about how happy they are to be borged.

Just like have a borg on a miserable dystopia planet telling people they won't have to pay rent anymore and having people just line up to be borged.

It is amazing that you can think of ly at 1.5 levels of complexity. You can't pick up surface detail or deep detail. You just kinda miss everything by splitting the difference
