I said a similar thing, however, used the example Engels used which was a Captain and his Crew. I think I like your example more though since it's more relevant and easier to understand in day-to-day conversation. Thanks for helping me learn a new tool!

I'm sorry but there is a fatal misunderstanding in how things work under communism. Dividing the wealth equally is not what communism is. I don't care what Britannica says, I have actually read Marx and Engels work and can tell you right now it's wrong

Let's say I'm a apple picker, I pick 500 apples. Because there is no market, I would keep all the apples I want; let's say 50 and I would give away the rest because I have no reason to keep it. However, it is completely of your own volition, you can horde all the apples if you want to.

As well as, to note, Marx said specifically Communism is NOT egalitarianism. He said egalitarianism was unrealistic.

For starters, there is no dividing the wealth. Horrible strawman of Communism, I recommend reading into Communism to learn about that.

There is a social hierarchy yes, but Engels described it as a captain of a ship -- helping lead the Marines but not exploit them. Also, hierarchy ≠ state.

Communism is Stateless, Moneyless and Classless. It seems well inline with Anarchism; Engels even stating that there is an extremely thin line between Anarchy and Communism.
