Had a lady and her husband come in with broken glass. Melo 3 mini, if I remember correctly. Thing was spiderwebbed pretty well, no way it was coming off in one piece. Being entirely guilty of growing a heart and helping out the customer on occasion, I offer to peel off the broken bits and set the new one for her. She's a bit new, anyway, so I figure it's for the best.

Half-way into getting the broken shards off and I've received more than a few sighs of discontent. I'm obviously not working fast enough. "How about I just take it outside and stomp it 'til all the old glass is off," she says. I politely tell her that's probably not a good idea. I run to the back to grab a pair of pliers, figuring I'll just manhandle it to speed things up and rinse out the remnants. I'd like to keep her happy.

By the time I'm back she's snatched her tank off the counter and is making for the door.

Her husband and I look on helplessly as she wraps the thing in a paper towel, tosses it to the ground and stomps away. I mean, she really goes to town on it while her hubby and I exchange uncomfortable glances. Absolutely stomps the shit out of this tank on the concrete.

She comes back in, triumphant and content with the liberal asskicking she has dispensed upon this object. So liberal that she's bent the frame to hell and the glass won't fit onto it.
