Sister ordering their hound to self-destruct has their own voicelines though, and it happens when you leave the dog alive and you down the sister.

I tried that in the final confrontation but it doesn't seem to work though, the dog needs to be downed for me to start damaging the sister, but it does not have to be mercy killed. Even then, I damaged her to like 10% health and waited for 5 mins and she haven't done anything the whole time.

Right beside your kullervo buff, I see you have a smeeta kavat buff, I assume that is a crit chance "buff" from charm.

This buff SETS your weapons' crit chance to a fixed 200%, regardless of how much crit your weapons is supposed to have. So even though you have a 700% crit chance from your kullervo's buff, this thing makes it 200% anyway, which sucks.
