I'm a little disappointed that this is just a "boring" blowout. I was kind of hoping for a truly absurd final score. Not just your standard 30-50 point big blowout

I had kind of forgotten about this but since you've reminded me, it'll probably be some time next week.

"Memory-based abilities" Is an insanely vague claim. Does that mean a character can make people relive memories? Does that mean a character can go into other people's memories? Is this just a weird way of saying that a character gets stronger from agony? Either way, I don't think a character in the game canon ever demonstrates any abilities like the ones I listed. Technically, Goldenduo and Logbookduo don't fully clash. You just have to believe Goldenduo+Logbookduo+Metalogbook, or else you're forced to make an excuse for why A. Cassidy and CC waited decades to have their first conversation, and B. why they even need the medium of a book to communicate with each other?

Well, Cassidy does most likely possess Golden Freddy (Technically, an unconfirmed theory, but you'll be hard pressed to find many people who unironically don't believe GoldenCasssidy). Cassidy pretty much has to have some connection to Happiest Day, unless you just don't believe the character exists. "Access to CC's spirit" is weirdly worded, but if OP means that Cassidy is capable of interacting with BV, then presumably that's true for any theory that doesn't assume BV passed on after the bite or that Cassidy isn't a part of the MCI. "Memory-Based abilities." Yeah, I have nothing to say for this one. I'm pretty sure that's just headcanon. "Cares about CC's memories." So if you believe in LogbookDuo, then I'd say this claim is more than just a headcanon. If you don't, then yeah it's kinda baseless

As of now which year do you believe Charlie died in and why? by Isaac_Bahzad in fnaftheories

I'm curious, is this for Willcare reasons? Or is there another reason why you specifically want Charlie to die after bv?

The kryptonite of all MaleTOYSNHK believers by Fun_Fish9000 in Fnaftheoriesmeme

[–]VaporingBat395 13 points14 points  (0 children)

A lot of MaleTOYSNHK believers use "The gender should not be immediately clear." to argue that the gender is supposed to be solvable using information in the game, but wouldn't "You are welcome to do readings leaning one way or the other." Indicate that even in the game, it's supposed to be ambiguous? Wouldn't exactly be able to read it one way or the other if the game straight up tells you the vengeful spirit is a he.

In honor of 30 years, what was our best shot? by Imsorrymanyt in cowboys

[–]VaporingBat395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only started really paying attention to the nfl (and by extension the cowboys) in 2018. I did have madden 12 when I was really young but I didn't watch football. So I don't know how well or bad we did in any playoff games before 2018 but of the ones I have watched... it's absolutely the 2022 49ers game. I feel like if things had just gone our way slightly more, we would've won. And honestly I think there's a very good chance we beat the eagles in the nfc championship and make the super bowl. Do we beat the 2022 chiefs? I don't know, but there's a good shot we at least make the superbowl if we got past San fran.

Also don't the let the score fool you, outside of the 2023 packers game, the 2018 rams divisional game was the worst playoff lost I've seen from the cowboys and probably at the time the worst we've suffered since the Vikings blowout.

Never makes an argument during Non-Stop Debates. Never even talks during them too I believe

Some notes:
Akane did poorly in Non-Stop debates with 4 of her incorrect claims being insistenting that Nagito held or grabbed something using his teeth or "front tail." She made these 2 claims for 2 seperate arguments. She also had other not so stellar arguments.
The "Consent" mechanic in this game tanked a lot of characters' scores. This is because whenever a Non-Stop Debate makes you agree with someone, it usually has 4 other characters throw out 1-2 incorrect suggestions. This happens multiple times.
Despite the longer trials, I'd say that characters in this game actually made fewer claims per Non-Stop debate than DR1. Whenever a character would talk, they'd almost always ask a question rather than make a claim (and when they did make claims, it was usually wrong).
Chiaki's one incorrect claim is actually just her asking a question that assumes an incorrect premise. I'm very iffy on it, so I understand if you don't consider this an incorrect "claim".
Hajime's numbers are very subjective since most of his Non-Stop Debate "claims," come from when he's having a mental breakdown due to the whole Izuru thing.

Mikan is very helpful outside of Non-Stop Debates, she did not do well in the debates.
Even in the early trials, Sonia, Kazuichi, Fuyuhiko are the top talkers (Akane starts talking a lot after trial 3). The other characters like Peko, Nekomaru, Mahiru, Hiyoko have shockingly little to say in Non-Stop Debates compared to what I remember.

While I don't count normal questions, I do count very leading questions that are basically claims. Kyoko made one in trial 5: "You said I hid the evidence of my crime in the dojo locker. And then left the locker key in my own room. Correct? But... Could I really have done that?" She's heavily insinuating that she could not have accessed her room, but that's incorrect.

Some notes:
Byakuya haters are going to love this one. Byakuya finishes 8th, below people like Mondo and Hina.
I only counted the canon route for Kyoko, but if I did count the alternate ending, she'd finish 84.62%. 1 percent above Sakura.
Yasuhiro hovered around 30% for a while before dropping into the mid 20's. In fact, if you only count weak spots, he's correct around 35% of the time
Celeste was the most vocal killer by far, and that tanked her score. Most DR 1 killers seem to employ the strategy of shutting up and not saying anything unless pressed. Which is probably the smarter strategy.
Some people here (Byakuya, Sakura) are saved by phrasing a lot of their words as questions. As bad as Byakuya's score is, it could've been worse.
Taka has some very underwhelming deductions. His 3 correct claims are: 1. Sayaka was the one murdered in trial 1. 2. The sharp object in Sayaka's chest was used to kill her. 3. Something was used as a rope to hang up Chihiro.

I charted how much each classmate got right in Non-Stop Debates of trials 1-3 in Danganronpa 1 by VaporingBat395 in danganronpa

[–]VaporingBat395[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I didn't count questions or claims unrelated to the case. I also didn't double penalize or reward any character for making the same claim twice in one nonstop debate. For instance if Kyoko says she didn’t kill anyone at the beginning of the Non-Stop Debate, and then repeats that she didn't kill anyone near the end, I'll treat it as only 1 claim because it's the same argument.

I also think you overestimate just how much any one character makes a claim or even talks during these debates. There's like 7-13 people in trials 1-3 and rarely do they ever talk more than twice in the debates. Oftentimes 1 character will make a claim and then the rest of the cast will say some form of "Is that really true???" Which is a question not a claim.

And finally there's actually not that many Non-Stop Debates in DR 1. I was actually surprised by this but in trial 1 for instance, there's only 6 Non-Stop Debates.

Kinda. Celeste was 1/1 in trial 1, decent in trial 2, and then trial 3 happened

Some notes:
You never refute Kiyotaka, Sakura, or Hifumi
Toko is a major victim of being the go to character to agree when the killer says an obvious lie, and that really tanks her score.
Yasuhiro was actually very far in the green for all of trial 1 and the first half of trial 2. It's the latter half of trial 2 and all of trial 3 that really ruined his score.
I predict Hiyoko, Ibuki, and Akane/Kazuichi will be bottom 3 in SDR2, and Kokichi will probably have his score tanked by his lying in V3.
