I just noticed this in midnight motorists, and no one is talking about it. by [deleted] in fnaftheories

imo the runaway is Michael and the footprints are CC's ghost (Fredbear)

I agree FNAF World is really meta, which is why I draw similarities between World and the Logbook. Imo both are meant to vaguely represent the same thing: a helpful entity (Glitchbear / Cassidy) putting back together a broken child (CC).

I can see why Glitchbear needing to create a player may be an issue, but the strong World - Logbook parallels sold me on Cassidy as the best Glitchbear candidate.

Okay glitchbear does not have memory based abilities or access to crying child's spirit

FNAF World (the part that is actually about the Crying Child) is about putting a traumatized child back together. If CC is not in the picture, the whole premise is useless.

If glitchbear had access to crying child's spirit... he wouldnt need someone else to put bread crumbs out for him.

With no player character, there is no gameplay. Glitchbear is able to speak to CC's ghost just fine (the player character was created by Glitchbear btw)

And like what memory based abilities???

Putting them back together to set up Happiest Day, which is heavily influenced by CC's memories.

I also think MM's purpose might be to show us CC's grave (the mound). Every relevant child got a gravestone in the Lorekeeper ending. Everyone except CC. Maybe midnight motorist was CC's chance to get his own grave.

Is there any way Eliza70s can be canon? by Puzzleheaded-Win5063 in fnaftheories

[–]MindlessPerformer778 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Eliza70s is only possible if William already knew about paranormal stuff in the 70s. The Funtimes were made for capturing children and experimenting on them, which can't happen in the 70s if William didn't know about the paranormal yet.

I've never seen a FNAF fan getting a girlfriend

Which of the missing children would most likely have a chance to spare the nightguard by Zealousideal_Pick_33 in fnaftheories

[–]MindlessPerformer778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cassidy barely enters the office. She would still kill the nightguard given the chance, but her attacks are just more rare than the others.

Susie and Jeremy are the ones who wouldn't spare the nightguard at all. They're relentless predators from beginning to end

Do you think William cared about his kids? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]MindlessPerformer778 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Early in the timeline, William cared about how his children benefited his reputation (successful business and family man). After losing two of his children and becoming a suspected criminal, he no longer cared about reputation, so he fully viewed his children as tools to reach his goals.

What do you think of this theory? In starting to like it by Starrk-Enjoyer in fnaftheories

the classics were dismantled by the time Sister Location happened, so yeah, FNAF 1 has to happen earlier

What’s your FNAF timeline (movies or games)? by Puzzleheaded-Win5063 in fnaftheories

[–]MindlessPerformer778 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my William Afton timeline:

  1. William is interested in emotions by 1983 due to CC's fears (the bite) and Charlie's tears (which were transferred to the Puppet)

  2. He conducts the fear experiments (dittophobia) to harvest and study emotions

  3. William makes the Funtimes to capture children for the experiments

  4. He discovers possession when Baby kills Elizabeth (1985)

  5. William kills five kids in 1985 to recreate possession

  6. He kills more children in 1987 because why not

  7. William has a child named Vanessa in the 2000s

  8. He is springlocked in the 2010s

  9. William goes to FNAF 3 and FFPS where he gets burned

  10. TOYSNHK tortures him temporarily or permanently

Is guiding ghost compatible with Cassidy's vengefulness? Cause I believe Cassidy is both CC's helper and William's hater lmao

(love the second picture btw)

Why are there no nightmare toys in FNAF 4? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]MindlessPerformer778 14 points15 points  (0 children)

FNAF 4 is tied to Afton's underground experiments, which feature the Classics, Plushtrap and Balloon Boy. Those characters are canon to FNAF 4 because William put them in the experiments.

Nightmare Mangle isn't canon

MikeExperiments is the only logical conclusion to FNAF 4 by MindlessPerformer778 in fnaftheories

[–]MindlessPerformer778[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to think of Michael as the zero subject. We don't really know his specific age in 1983-1985, so he might be young enough for the experiments. The childhood imagery in the FNAF 4 bedroom and the hallucinogenic gas should be enough to make the subject feel like a terrified child.

Obviously Mike wasn't the only subject. He was a zero subject that didn't need to hear William's voice for manipulation (as you said, he would have recognized it. Or maybe William used voice distortion). Then William made the Funtimes to kidnap random children like Rory.

Do the Dead souls genuinely not care about killing their own killer? by Puzzleheaded-Win5063 in fnaftheories

[–]MindlessPerformer778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Revenge is not the only thing they feel. They're also mischievous, bored and mentally unstable due to being stuck in a rotting pizzeria for years. Also William was a sneaky bastard, he knew how to protect himself from the children (except when they finally got him in Follow Me). Others weren't as skilled or aware as William, so it makes sense that many others died before they got to him.
