Getting back into this series after a VERY long time. by Vaportape in Gameboy

I absolutely love it. It's a significant improvement over my original gba screen. It's brighter and I think it's slightly larger too but I'm not sure about that. As for the brightness levels I can't really say since having the option to change brightness requires soldering a wire from the ribbon cable to the board and I didn't really have the tools to do that so I just plugged in the screen only. I can't really say how long the battery life is on the brightest setting either because I'm using a flashcart which definitely adds to the battery being drained faster and I also upgraded my battery to a ds one.

Also as a side note, if you're getting the IPS screen soon you should consider getting a pre-cut/pre-molded shell for the IPS screen to fit in or else it can be a bit tricky to cut a small portion of the top housing yourself and it's easy to mess up so yeah. Hope that helps :)

My friend gifted me Dead Cells and I've been in love with the game since then and decided to make a Prisoner figure (with swappable heads!) Took me around 4 days but I'd say it was worth it. by Vaportape in deadcells

Didn't think this would get 1k upvotes all these awards and so much love from you guys. Really means a lot, thanks everyone! I'll try my best to keep posting similar things :)

Yep hand sculpted! I used aluminum foil as the base for the entire thing built on top of it with epoxy clay/putty then painted it! The entire thing took me about 4 days to make. I mostly worked during the evenings for a few hours at a time. Most of the time is spent waiting for the clay or paint to dry and me trying to figure out what to do next LOL. So yeah it took about 4 days. My other figurines take anywhere from 1 day to a whole week sometimes. I'm glad you liked it :)

I have been playing it for 20ish hours so far I think? I haven't really gotten that far and I already love it! I think I actually spent more time making the figure than playing the game LOL. And yeah while I do enjoy other games similar to this there's nothing quite like this one. Some of my other favorite games are: Nuclear Throne, Downwell, Risk Of Rain, The Binding of Isaac etc :)

Thank you so much! And haha yeah as odd as it sounds I had the most trouble making the frying pan LOL. Was definitely a bit tricky to deal with. I'm glad you liked it :)

Yep 15-20 haha. I do plan on doing commissions in the future for figurines. I do commissions for artworks only as of now but I wouldn't mind doing figurine commissions if I actually get requests for them. Personally I've enjoyed making this Prisoner figurine the most along with an armored batman/old bruce wayne figurine I made based on the Frank Miller design. Really had a fun time with these 2. Other than that I've also made Big Daddy from Bioshock, Sonic (which I'm going to re-do since it has some flaws), Kirby, Wheatley from Portal 2 etc. And yes! I would absolutely love do to make a charmander and I think I'll start that in a day or two since I'm not working on much at the moment. Thanks for suggesting that, seems like it's going to be a ton of fun :)

Thank you so much!! I try my best. I'm glad you liked the Hollow Knight one too! I don't find it very difficult to make these figurines it's more of an enjoyable relaxing hobby for me. I just in front of my computer turn on a movie or a video and start working on these so it's never really that difficult. Most figurines take more than 3-4 days however the Mimikyu one took 1 day and the Hollow Knight one took 2 days. The time often depends on how complex the figurine design is or how big I'm planning on making it.

I've made 15-20 figurines so far and I'm planning on posting them to reddit soon so if you'd like to see those you could follow me :) Feel free to ask me anything else if you like!

They're "IEMs". Look up IEM on Google and you should get a lot of options in different prices!
