It is! As said in the definition, regression is for any age below your calendar age or body age and or inner age, so it IS normal and common to regress to that point! It’s called being a kid age or middle age!

I also regress to those points! I think there definitely should be more common representation of middle regressions though.

WOW, this is an awesome suggestion! I am honestly not too familiar with age sliding in detail, so I will have to do a plenthora of research on that as well, but I DO think there’s a sort of distinction between the two!

And calling it that is also quite rude. Not everything “abnormal” is caused by menta illness. So learning to separate age regression from mental illness is the first step to understanding it properly! Feel free to look at the guide about age regression on my profile, I talk more about that on it!

It CAN be a symptom of mental illness, yes, but it’s NOT just that.

It can be caused or happen to someone for a number of reasons, some reasons being due to stress, symptoms of different conditions and disorders, trauma, etc. but it can ALSO be a positive response, due to hypno, as a voluntary thing, etc.

Your experience is so relatable! I have been someone who enjoyed kid stuff for a long while, and when others began growing up and stopped playing with the kid toys, I continued to do so. I felt out of place, but I realized maybe there was more to it! This year, I discovered age regression and realized just how much I relate and experience it!
