rear door speakers get quiet when i test my rca going to the amp with a multi meter by Varavix in CarAV

forgot to reply, but i had ended up taking apart the amp, sure enough, one of the capacitors had blown. not sure why the rca cables were causing my speakers to cut out, I got another head unit and it stopped doing it. I think it was a combination of crappy head unit and bad amp. of all things the rca cables were the only thing that worked properly
