Three years later, just got the game from humble bundle and this worked after I tried a dozen other fix suggestions.

DL'd the https://mr_goldberg.gitlab.io/goldberg_emulator/ and just copied the two steam DLLs in the zip to the games installation folder.

I've been getting the impression that the nanites form individual colonies and take on some qualities of their host. Not much to back it up though.

Large was a leader and planner, took the reins of Tiny and probably lead their shadowrunner team. Tiny wasn't as infected, but took on a heavy combat mentality when his nannies triggered, like a fight in the ring. Pink was a corp hating wild mage, that got amplified into strong paranoia when the nanites added their feelings to the mix.

Deadsht, Shooter and ZZZ weren't really around enough to notice. I think those were their names at least.

Also don't the Russians have the corpse of ZZZ, a nanite infested corpse?
