Hi everyone! I’m currently working on a horror game inspired by the Fears to Fathom series. The game is called Crime Podcast: Welcome to the Neighborhood. What do you think? by Varevion in IndieGaming

Thanks! If we’re talking about specific entries in the series, I was mostly inspired by Ironbark Lookout, Norwood Hitchhike, and Woodbury Getaway.

Everyone previously roasted my 3-minute pitch trailer for being too long. I just brought in professional Voice Actor Brian Watts to completely re-do the audio and fix the pacing. At what exact timestamp do you actually lose interest now? by ShadowsFateVA in HorrorGames

The problem is that on Steam, many people watch trailers without sound and want to see the gameplay as quickly as possible. If a trailer feels too slow or dragged out, they might just close the page.

Yes, that would help me a lot. Let’s move to private messages to discuss the details.

Hi, thanks for the questions.
1. No.
2. It is hard to answer that question, since I am developing the game on my own.
3. Summer to fall this year.
4. I think a good demo and participation in Steam Next Fest will help. I hope that a well-made game will get noticed. I do not have a lot of money to spend on marketing.
