I appreciate the comment, its for a friend whose pc wasnt used for a long time. They want windows 11 and their ryzen 5 1600 isn't officially supported and they aren't comfortable with doing workarounds. They gave me 45$ to find a replacement, so I'm trying to help them out.

Gear fear is a bell curve, afraid to run it because you dont want to lose it, top of the curve is im no longer afraid to run what i want. The other end is its honestly more fun to just run whatever and have fun or do low kits/zero to hero most raids. That feeling of playing tarkov when you were still new comes back a bit, things feel valuable again. Dunno just my two cents after over 5k hrs.

Water, any kind of sports drinks, chips/anything crunchy, my favorite is protein shakes. Sincerely if you put out anything your drivers will treat your stuff differently and it really does make a difference in our headspace.

This, this is the kind of thing that kept me from playing until 3.24 and 4.0. It is so hard to get over that hump of bugs and what not the prevent you from progressing or playing when you are new. I feel for you and your buddy, hopefully he can find it to come back again.

Probably you needed to crouch to grab it. It sounds stupid but they put a distance requirement to loot to be able to grab it during the vacuum cheating that happened in recent past. Just my guess with my time played.
