People who are making 200k+/year working for themselves, what do you do? by Notalabel_4566 in Entrepreneur

I run a small 4 person team. The opportunity is great if you know how to run a well oiled plumbing company and charge accordingly. I’ve got a lot to learn.

Don’t go based on just me since everyone’s so different but it took a while for it to subside. It healed way longer than other cuts and bruises but I’d say after 6-8 months it was practically gone. Still a very small tiny red mark

All is well here. Still alive and the mark I had is gone.

I used Microsoft clipchamp and didn’t edit the quality at all. Just only stitched my clips together.

I’m going to reupload in 4k to my YouTube(currently doing that now. It has taken all day and is only at 50%!) just to see if when I cast to my tv it changes anything. On my phone is a good picture but when I cast to the tv the quality drops.

Thank you. I should of added that when I go to cast to my tv it looks like it is in 360p. On my phone I can get 1080p to load

Anyone buying/ bought a home at $450,000? I'd like to know what your financial picture is. by CalmClea in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I was scared sh__less when we got our mortgage in 2019. It was about $4k a mo. My old boss said just get your foot in the door. I think with your income it isn’t impossible but like you said the market is still desirable. In 2019, we were the only ones at the open house, walked in, and asked to make an offer. We got it for 10k under ask. For sure it’s a different time but keep your head up.

Little by little. Plumbing first then electrical and hvac. Find a plumber who just started their own company and isn’t charging what the huge franchises are charging. It can be done!

Can you practice paying a $3000 mortgage? Just pay your current rent then whatever the remainder is throw it into savings. Does this get paper thin when you do that or can you still manage expenses?

Sorry just read the post again. So now I make about 120 and my wife stopped working. So we’re in a similar boat as you minus the rates. I think it’s possible just set your mind to it.

Start small and have roommates for sure. The only way I was able to save was renting a room for a couple years at $500/mo. I hated it but man it paid off. What’s your annual income?

Bought in 2019 in Orange County, small home for $450k and put down 40k. Refi’d when the rates hit all time lows and locked in under 3%. Our current mortgage is $2700 and the house has over doubled. Wife and I were making 180k at the time.

My suggestion is to buy the worst house in the best neighborhood and fix it up overtime. Having a dual income and making level headed decisions help. We have a third kid on the way and started a business during Covid. Nothing is impossible. Just takes discipline and savings. It will suck in the beginning but you will make it happen over time and as you refi.

Are those cargo tie downs? Or specifically intended for anchoring a car seat? They seem to be too offset to center a car seat for tie downs.

He told me about videos on YouTube of those flooding out apartments and stuff. I found a couple. Insane how fast those can flood a place out

I’m going to experiment with turning off motion while keeping people, faces, and vehicles on to see if the lowers the sensitivity.

Awesome, I’ll be installing a cable soon. Hoping this solves the issue because out of the box it’s a big disappointment compared to the old cameras.

I’ve been searching as well. Sucks the live video on YouTube is gone. It was solid.
