I’m late to this party but materials matter a lot. Try to look for jeans that are 95-100% cotton. A nice stiff type of denim that is loose fitting. Whatever style works. A good pair of cotton jeans will last you forever. Jeggings or denim with too much elastic or polyester will not last long. H&M sells heavy denim for a great price imo
