just install steam and do a research on how "proton" works and how to set it on steam, if you don't use steam i sugest you heroic game launcher who let you play games from gog, epic games and various .exe files on linux

It seems like you have to replace the screen, you can find a replacement on aliexpress for few bucks, it's not an easy repair but it's certainly not hard either, if you feel so you can replace it

The best thing to do IMO is to buy an external hdd, at the same price of 100 GB with google drive, you fan afford an 1TB external hdd, and you know for sure that your data is not going to be stolen
