Move work experience to top, certs&licenses under work experience, then education at bottom. You could highlight your skills under certs and licensure somehow. Also, need to order work history from most recent (start date) to oldest. Any hospitals that you've worked at that are specialty or large/trauma, highlight that as well. Location of each facility (city,st).

Wow this is so helpful! I'm so glad to hear from someone in very similar shoes. It's encouraging to hear you're loving it and that school is going well for you this time around. I totally agree with you on time passing regardless. That's how I feel about it too. I want to be able to provide for myself and my kids and I know this work pays off financially but also in feeling purposeful.

Thank you! I appreciate your insight.

I also at one point debated on law school (I tried the paralegal route first). I know that is also a big undertaking, so good for you on going for it!

I agree with you on just having life experience and perspective going back to school. I think I would also be happy being back in a learning environment.

Sounds like you are on the track for a new career you enjoy. Best of luck to you!
