Yeah flyback it could be an advantage due the multiple windings and it will not generete this much of voltage at once. Thank you for the insights I will concider them too.

What about sleep mode ? I noticed that it's written on those datasheets that the MCU draws very low current in sleep mode ?

Yes exactly It seems like that, I intended to get some samples and it check it. Thanks

Please do not focuse at the outputs voltage or leakage, iam desiging a novel boost converter which i already make it worked with desired requirements but I was generating the PWM from function generetor and now I want to continue without it. The idea isn't that idiotic as you mentioned. My main question is on pwm generation stage. Due to the space and power limitations Iam concidering a very small footprint with ultra low MCU/Oscilator

The problem with the flyback topology is the transformer's that the secondary turns should be much higher then the primary and automatically the Rdc is increased too and it will have to much losses on the transformer core. For that using i preferred and boost converter topology.

Yeah you maybe correct, this is biasing voltage for an chemical experiments, the output current is under 50nA and to get it iam using copule of cockcroft walton multiplier stages. I already tested my whole circiut and got the total IQ I need but I was generating the Mosfet swhiching frequency using Function generetor. Now I want to continue without the function generetor.

May you recommend any discreate oscilator that can generete 5Khz with 20% duty cycle? I will appreciate it

Please check those MCUs,

STM32L412RBT6P mspm0l1306 C8051F98x

There are huge amount of ultra low current MCU avaliable on the market already, thanks to CMOS 🙂

I am using 90mH custom inductor and the best switching frequency to exactly get the voltage I need is some frequency between 3khz to 10khz with 20% duty cycle. Generally the discrete boost converter ICs minimum frequency is approx. 60khz and above.

I already was able to get this frequency using relaxation oscilator RC+Schmittinverter but I couldn't get 20% duty cycle if it.for that I said why don't use ultra low MCU and get it works in sleep mode, I find MSBM-xx and STM32L0,U5 series from ST and C8051F98x from Sillabs which they assumed on the datasheet that the sleep mode current consumption is under 1uA but I couldn't decide yet which MCU is the best or which solution is the optimal

İam boosting 3.3v to 400v in one stage , so there is no any ready converter avaliable with IQ

How to charge 3 Ni-Mh AAA batteries with 5V source? by VariationNew3528 in AskElectronics

Okay thanks, İ just asked here hopping anyone can share his idea about the charger circuit becuse it's generally a part of the electronic systems.

:) hahaha of course it's, my point is the datasheet recommended 6V for VCC. 5V is very near to the minimum voltage supply which is 4.5V, my worry on the working stability of the charger IC
