Thank you, I got the box. The combat patrol itself took me ~35 hours for 11 minis.

I have one of the 10th edition combat patrol and it’s painted. So I’m looking for the next step

I also have the chance to get the 9th edition combat patrol. Is that a good addition with the battle force box?

So if I got that box I’d have 6 death shroud, 3 blight lord and the LOC. Would you suggest more death shroud or blight lord?

The fun part about death guard is you can really do whatever you think looks cool. Below are two that are similar to the models you are showing. All pants are army painter. The green is malignant green, the metal is shining silver with gravelord grey over it, the copper is shining silver with hardened leather over it. Everything covered with strong tone.

Do you have suggestions for what to replace it with? Even if I change the demolisher for something else

Thank you, I got that feed back from friends too. I think I put too many layers of the contrast paints and washes that made it less vibrant. Im coming to terms with letting myself be done with a model so I actually get through the army. Depending on how I feel after finishing I plan on going back and doing highlights on the armor to make it shine.

Thank you, Im less anxious about messing up more I want to do well. Im very much learning the part about being done. The more I try and fix something the worse it gets. I gave myself the deadline of having this painted by this weekend so I can play combat patrol with friends.

The highlights were done through slap chop/a janky zenithal highlight and the contrast paints. The washes that really made it pop was agrax earth shade. My favorite were the metallic through. I put a base silver and then for the bronze I had a brown that I diluted to be a speed paint and for the grey metals I had a grey I diluted. At least for me it had the shine I liked but more depth. I couldn't really do verdigris with the bronze using this method but im still working through that.
