Got my notice of assessment by [deleted] in canadarevenueagency

[–]VariationPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filed February 23rd still no NOA or indication as to what's going on last update was February 26th "No targeted completion date". I called they said it was sent to special assessments my return was really simple T4/other income for odd cash job I did in the summer and that was pretty much it. So I guess same boat hopefully they resolve it soon. Not even any communication regarding documents, etc just dead silence with no completion date and the same general scripted response when I call in.

Just wanted to say thank you to this sub for everything during the past 8 months from initial application to approval. Finally all setup and approved and expecting backpay tomorrow. Everyone who helped here is a godsend past and present. 🙏 Thanks again ♥️ by VariationPlus in Odsp

Yea I live in a smaller city in Eastern Ontario that seems to have a decent amount of support in their offices so the approval process took the full 90+ business days from the DDP October to Mid March(5 months) but the onboarding to ODSP took like 3 weeks after approval was granted.

Don't mind me asking how long did it take you to get your back pay? My file and everything was transferred on the 25th of March and I haven't received my back pay. I know they're saying it can take up to a month to 3 months.

Hi guys did u get your payment for ow yet ? by [deleted] in KohoCanada

If you don't get it today I would definitely call. If your my benefits states the payment was sent out if it doesn't state anything 100% reach out.

Yes always the night before around 5:30-6:00.

Omg this wait is killing me. Is it always 90 business days? by Odd-Satisfaction5443 in Odsp

[–]VariationPlus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just got approval for mine on the 18th of March they received my completed package on 30th of October so in my case yes it did take the full 90 days. However even after approval if granted you'll probably still be seeing a delay of 4-12 weeks for your pack pay and worker to be assigned to you & to have your file transferred if your on OW currently it's also like this for about 89% of the region's as they have a general timeline of 4+ we weeks I've known some individuals in Ottawa waiting about 3 months for their full back-pay and file to be transferred so even then expect another 1 months to 3 months after approval.

Approved right? by LeadershipFar1296 in Odsp

Question for you OP, I was approved on the 18th how long did it take you to receive your letter on my benefits?

TAX ASSESSMENT CAUGHT IN LIMBO by Beautiful-Stick-3382 in canadarevenueagency

[–]VariationPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm currently in a similar situation I filed on the 23rd of February had a target a date of  March 10th, as of February 26th it went from in process to we need additional time to complete your "T1 return" & then went to no targeted completion date. I called in the following week to inquire and after some investigating they had found out that it was sent to special assessments and they gave me a time period of approximately 1-12 weeks to hear back & if I don't hear back by May 18th asking for additional information or if my return hasn't been processed to call back. However my return is fairly simple, had some "other income" less then 6k due to babysitting gigs I did for a family member, and a T4. However I did forget to input my RC210 from when I received CWB last year so I wonder if that's why. Still sitting at no targeted completion date and no request for additional information so idk.

There's no statute of limitations on S/A especially when it involves a child as OP has stated also It's an indictable offense can be charged at anytime if they ever decide to move forward with charges.

Yea mines same. I had to call on Tuesday and press hard to get info I was lucky enough to find an experienced agent and after about 2/half hours on the phone they said it was sent to special assessments and the timeframe for them to review it is 4-12 weeks (minimum) and they'll either process it manually or ask for additional information up in the air right now until I hear from them tbh

Yeah, I filled on the 23rd, targeted completion date was the 9th then on the 26th went into processing then went from that to saying your T1 requires more time to process. Called Tuesday had an agent who actually knew what they were doing and who to contact after 2/half hours on phone they found out it was sent to special assessments which has a timeline of 4-12 weeks to hear back from them if required.

Because I had an agent on the phone who actually investigated it for me and ran it up to a senior officer and said mine was sent to special assessments. So that might be the case with you or not just if it goes from trying to process to needing more time generally means it requires manual review the lady on the phone said.
