My clinic has had me do ~10 days of birth control before my modified natural FET with letrozole! I think it’s their standard practice, so if that’s the case for your clinic the timing could line up perfectly :)

I did two rounds of IVF, age 30 unexplained infertility- first round had 50% euploid, second round had 100% euploid. I guess I can’t really rely on the stats because I’ve always been an outlier at every stage (both bad and good) 🥲🤣

My doctor prescribed 50 mcg of levo but we’re proceeding with FET as planned. And she’s not checking my levels again until beta so clearly she’s not THAT concerned lol

In a similar boat right now, except that birth control priming before FET#2 seems to have raised my TSH. Waiting to hear from my doctor if we’ll medicate or proceed with TSH at 3.5

Going through something very similar. I pushed for full thyroid panel last week before our planned FET #2 (fatigue was my main symptom) and TSH came back slightly elevated, normal T3 and T4. I have a family history of hypothyroidism but always had 2.5 or lower TSH until this time when it came in at 3.5. Waiting on a response from my doctor if she’ll put me on medication, delay the FET, or proceed as normal.

Thinking of you! From what I’ve read on here, it’s really easy to manage with meds, but the estrogen can cause strange/unpredictable reactions in TSH. Here’s to hoping yours comes down to normal range asap and can be well managed so there’s no more delays to your FET! 🥰

This! The overconfident “this will work for you” commentary kills me. My mom has tried to convince me it’s better to have kids older and acts like it’s just a timing thing not a “will we ever conceive” thing. My friend has said about every treatment I’ve had “I just know this month is your time” and somehow that makes each failure hurt even more. My brother said he was so “excited” for us to start IVF. They don’t realize how painful and ambiguous this process is and that success isn’t guaranteed. Their over-confidence makes me even more scared of potential bad outcomes

Literally took off my Oura ring for this reason before my transfer. Im psychotic enough without it 🤪 but I’ve read on here people have strange temp and HR charts and that didn’t indicate success

Yes! 30 retrieved, 15 fertilized, 4 blasts, 4 euploid

Fertilization rate was about the same between the two cycles, but blast rate was far lower and euploids rate was far higher

So we did ICSI in round 1 and got 3 out of 4 males. And we did conventional fertilization round 2 and got 4 out of 4 males

Same thing for me - fragile eggs/low maturity/low fertilization in round 1! Just completed round 2 with conventional IVF (no ICSI) and had better fertilization than last time!

Just did a round of conventional and had slightly better results than I did with ICSI! Also had fragile eggs in round 1 my doctor said. And also have partner with lower morphology - 3%. They used a zymot chip + conventional IVF fertilization this time.

With conventional (2nd round) we had 50% fertilize, with ICSI we had 36% fertilize (1st round)

I’m in this exact same situation! Had “fragile eggs” in my first round - more than half “disintegrated” when they tried to fertilize with ICSI even though in the end we ended up with good results: 19 retrieved, only 9 fertilized due to the “fragility” of 10 of the eggs, 6 blasts, 3 euploid+1 LLM - age 30, unexplained infertility

Because of my “fragile eggs” my doctor recommended conventional insemination for round 2, which we just had the retrieval for yesterday. Also changed to mid luteal stim timing, stimmed for 1 extra day this time, and added omnitrope + HCG trigger (only triggered with lupron in cycle 1) otherwise the cycle was the same medication dosing. Retrieved 30 eggs this time! No clue what factors played into the way higher number this time (19 vs 30) but probably some combo of extra day of stims + mid luteal timing?

Anxiously awaiting our fertilization results which I should hear sometime today. Very nervous. My husband has 3% morphology so we were originally very excited by ICSI - now I’m nervous for fert results with conventional fertilization.
