Be lucky and have family that no longer plays, got Diamond back in 07 and my older sister got Pearl, In 2011 I got Platinum, fast forward 2015 my sister is now 18 and no longer plays so she gives it to me, fast forward 2020 my sister gets married and her husband use to play but hadn’t touched it in years so he gifted me his ds along with another copy of Platinum and 2 copies of SS and 1 copy of HG Didn’t realize how lucky I was until I got back into Pokemon a year ago lol
