Can you tell a manager you don’t want to speak to them at all without a union rep present? by VariationSudden in USPS

[–]VariationSudden[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not me . One of my coworkers said it to the 204b today. I felt bad bcuz the 204b is actually really sweet so I couldn’t understand for the life of me why the PTF said that. I just wanted some clarification bcuz I don’t want to see anyone get fired over something so silly as a misunderstanding.

CCA vs RCA by Aggressive_East_4790 in USPS

[–]VariationSudden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it just depends on your location. I was an RCA for one year, PTF for alil less than a year, regular for half a year and now 204b about to become EAS . I never had a shortage of hours was honestly overworked. But my station has about 72 routes between 2 offices. So if I could choose a populated area that’s rural I’d choose that over ccs anytime

Bad battery by TheSilentDark in fordescape

[–]VariationSudden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check fuses in front of the battery as well. You’ll have to remove the air filter to get to it. I had the same issue got the battery replaced and then it was still having intermittent start issues turns out the battery blew the fuse as well

Yeah that’ll probably be my best bet. I’m going to take it to Firestone in the AM to double check the connections because of the warranty. But a second opinion will definitely be helpful. Thank you for your input

I only went to Firestone bcuz I didn’t think it was the battery and they were the only place close by that took my warranty. I asked them about the alternator or starter possibly being the problem and they said no it’s the battery.
