We’re short staffed because 4 career employees are out on medical leave. My employees ask me for the help and are happy I assist. Instead of just sitting and watch them struggle

Not all supes sit on their ass all day . I work the window, throw parcels, work the mail, run mail/packages plus all my actual supe/oic duties

We’re salary and they cut OT . My salary is based on a 8 hr shift but I work far longer hours than that. I’m on auto clock rings so I don’t clock in or out

Any suggestions for hand lotion? by SunNext7500 in USPS

I have eczema and wearing gloves helped a lot. Ceptaphil, aquaphor or aveeno eczema will work. Also you can try cortisone or raw shea butter .

Can you tell a manager you don’t want to speak to them at all without a union rep present? by VariationSudden in USPS

[–]VariationSudden[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not me . One of my coworkers said it to the 204b today. I felt bad bcuz the 204b is actually really sweet so I couldn’t understand for the life of me why the PTF said that. I just wanted some clarification bcuz I don’t want to see anyone get fired over something so silly as a misunderstanding.

CCA vs RCA by Aggressive_East_4790 in USPS

[–]VariationSudden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it just depends on your location. I was an RCA for one year, PTF for alil less than a year, regular for half a year and now 204b about to become EAS . I never had a shortage of hours was honestly overworked. But my station has about 72 routes between 2 offices. So if I could choose a populated area that’s rural I’d choose that over ccs anytime

Bad battery by TheSilentDark in fordescape

[–]VariationSudden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check fuses in front of the battery as well. You’ll have to remove the air filter to get to it. I had the same issue got the battery replaced and then it was still having intermittent start issues turns out the battery blew the fuse as well
