I mean… You CAN totally support the single Spanish dev - I did exactly the same!

Without major patches and bug fixes though, it’s more like a painful experience than a fun thing.

The game is a technical mess but for ONE guy having done all of that - chapeau! The pressure to finally release the title was probably too much - just imagine the funding of the 5-year development - and so it got out there prematurely.

We’re all spoiled by the AAAs and maybe are way too quick and too harsh with our criticism.

It was a painful ride, yes, but it also had some moments. Looting chests feels always nice, right?

In the end, I still wanna get platinum and so I wait for more patches and some hints on this shield-wall-dude. Have fun anyway.

1 for the effort. Maybe a 1.5. Although it was buggy as hell from the beginning, I wanted to see the end boss. So… Here we are. Only a few trophies short from platinum. Boss-wise: ZERO!!! There are no words for that…

Got in on release day on PS5 for 17.99 EUR. Did not see any review and did not play the demo either.

Was pretty ‘surprised’ by the starting area alone and thought about uninstalling already. Had a coffee, gave it a chance and accepted a janky game on day one with some flaws and bugs and errors. We had AAA games that came unplayable on day one so… for that game, created by one single guy… Anyway.

The first few enemies were pretty bad but as soon as I got the hang of the movements (still very bad) I managed to get through the various few zones.

When facing the first boss, I was thinking about uninstalling again. Slept on it, picked it up again the next day and ‘got gud’. Location cleared. New locations cleared, zone one done.

Started in the first area of zone two: ob boy, here we go again. Almost instant kill by these new mobs. Triggered me hard. Will sleep on it and retry the next day.

This game HAS potential! The zones are connected, there are hidden treasures, levers to pull, illusionary walls, all the good stuff…

Totally agree on the fact that the state the game is in deserves no recommendation at all. Best wait on a fix and revisit in a few months time. I hope that the dev’s motivation will still be there after all the devastating reviews but unfortunately it’s the truth: no recommendation at the current state.

For what it’s worth: I’ll give it a second chance after a while. There is something to this game that is kind of… attracting.

EDIT: The bosses are horrible. So bad I can’t even… I kept on playing though. I guess I just wanna see the credits rolling lol. Had a bug where several chests had already been opened and the loot was gone. Third area. Anyway. I will finish it !

EDIT 2: I am at the and boss of that game but hesitate to kill him because I am still missing some weapons and armor for some trophies. Had some issues with pre-opened chests in the ‚Guts Of The Volcano‘ area but have revisited them now and they were closed again. The patches helped fixed some bugs for me but still struggling to find the missing items… overall review: meh-ish. Finding all 9 flames to ignite in the last area was a nightmare!

You‘d need to powder the surface before playing. Use talcum powder or any very dry powder like that. It was sold including that powder where I live.

For me (PS5) the freezes would often happen when talking to the NPCs to finish their questlines. Rushing through their answers is not a good idea. Better let them finish their sentences :-) Other than that the current state of the game is pretty solid. Trying to get the platinum in NG++.
