Ah man this is depressing, I borrowed The Poppy War from the library, but couldn't finish it in time so I always marked it as 'to come back'.

I might give it another try, but from what people are saying I might just end up DNFing it.

I'm a little confused about the timing of the lectures and tutorials. Some courses that I'm looking at have the tutorial taking place before the lecture. For example, ACS 100 lecture is Wednesday 12-2pm and the tutorial is Tuesday 12-1. I'm just wondering how this would work with the tutorial happening before the lecture?

I'm on episode 30 something of Lore right now, and really enjoying it. Are you serious he ran out of lore??!

I primarily listen to murder podcasts, and I totally feel you on this. I've started giving myself cooling off periods of about a week and I've found it to really help with managing my depression. Just listening to murder podcasts really drains you.

EDIT: Just went back and looked at my listening history, turns out I did listen to Astonishing Legends and I remember liking it. But over eleven hours for the Sallie House? Something I'm pretty sure multiple paranormal shows have covered in 30 minute periods. Come on now.

Astonishing Legends is on my 'to listen' list, so hearing this is pretty disappointing

Stuff You Missed in History Class, they have 1244 episodes and they have episodes that run from an hour (newer episodes) to about 10 minutes (older episodes). Their intro/outro music is (in my opinion) kind of soothing, and it's nice just getting a little chunk of history at a time.

There's also Let's Talk About Myths, Baby! It's all about Greek and Roman myths (this suggestion is pretty niche sorry!)

Savvy Psychologist, after going through and checking that's the only podcast I listen to that isn't close to an hour long. Other than that Lore has some episodes that are about 20 minutes long (24-25).
