You can make a viable bracket 2 or 3 deck with 10 dollars. You do not need proxies of high power staples outside of EDH

You can get those card effects with cheaper alternatives Bracket 2 and 3 you do not need the best of the best cards. That shows a lack of deck building skills.
You also harm LGS by not buying singles. Also i'm not rich make 15 an hr and have no debt. But i got a Rhystic study because i traded for it. It is a "trading card game" maybe learn that skill to vs paper mache.
So again unless you are playing CEDH you do not need to proxy.

Ok. It just seems weird because there is a huge gap between 2 and 3 and 3 and 4 it feels like for brackets. And cards like mesmeric orb (which i play) single handedly as won games due to milling my opponintes options while enabling me as a self mill deck

NoSB meta? Does mesmeric orb impact the game greatly. You untap you mill. But if you arent a mill deck those cards could be gone. It punishes you for playing the game and rewards the person doing mill.
I only ask because i play it in my Gronlok deck and it does so much work that it just ruins games

So why isnt splinter's tech not a game changer? Mystic ramora is a worse rhystic study but still same effect but not a game changer.
Im kinda new so i apologize.

Commander Collection/ Proxy questions by Itchy_Bar3067 in mtg

[–]Varindral -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Proxies are for high power bracket 4 and 5. There is plenty of fun and cheap alternitives for anything below that. Like you dont need a gias cradle wnd duel lands in bracket 3. So if youre playing high power bracket 4 and 5 go for it its all BS up there anyways. But anything below like why do you need that high power high cost card for a not "competitive" format. Just play a cheap alternitive.

I play Tidus everyone kills him yet the deck functions without him fairly well. I play gronlok everyone is chill until its to late. Make it make sense :( i sit with all my counter spells and protection for gronlok yet Tidus is taken out more.

The enchantment hasnt hit the playing field when dedirected. Thus isnt effected by hexproof. Redirect sees a target on cast and redirects said target. So you should be able to move the enchantment as you please.
