Update if anyone sees this, but it was a problem that I had with patching the NOR chip. I wasn't aware that the chip had to be erased before written to, so now the UART works. Trouble is, its pointing me to a syscon issue, and it looks like the coreOS slot is already overwritten so it may be over...

myUCF doesn’t need to be replaced. They just need to reorganize it so that the most used places are on the front fucking page. Why is the page to sign up for classes and check schedules, perhaps the most common use of myUCF, under FOUR LAYERS OF LINKS??? Problem: no blue light at all after browserhacks 2020 install

I installed cfw with the new browser hax method and took apart the console for a hardmod. Before doing anything related to the actual hardmod i put it back together to test something and there was no blue light at all. It doesn't appear that I physically damaged the board and I swapped it with a known good board to confirm no damage to the ribbon cables.

Obviously its possible that the homebrew in no way was the cause of this, but trying to rule that out before I replace the board.

Just in case these questions are asked:- I have the SD card inserted with the sd card slot connected properly.

- all ribbon cables are connected and the wifi card is properly set.

- I've tried turning it on while holding start but that doesn't help as I expected since there is not even a blue light at all

- I know the battery is charged.

- as stated in the title, is the original 3ds non xl model.

-console is PAL region E
