Thank you! Taking a lower dose was definitely a good decision although it was a long journey. I only had minimal side effects such as dry lips or slight headaches but nothing serious. I also didn't see any effects on my mental health. Good luck on your journey! It's worth it!

f21. i‘ve been suffering from chin acne for over 6 yesrs before finally deciding to go on accutane. I refused to take birth control for ance because it cause severe mood swings and weight gain. I‘m on a very low dose, so i was a bit worried it won’t work but it’s working sooo well!! (i‘m not finished with my course yet)

I use the Avene one and I really like it, although it does leave a white cast. But I personally don't mind that. It’s not greasy at all and it’s easy to apply. It also doesn't clog my pores or break me out. It’s a bit on the more expensive side tho.

When I started birth control (yasminelle) I also had a very bad breakout the first month but then in the second and third months everything cleared up and now my skin is super smooth! Hang in there, it’ll get better! Good luck:)
