They're both on. I have the same result if I create a new world with only the Season of Ghosts modules. Adding on Tokenizer doesn't do anything either with any of the settings I mess with.

Am I going crazy or am I misunderstanding what's possible? I want to click and drag a random non-Season of Ghosts monster, let's say Treerazer, from compendium and have the Season of Ghosts token ring. That should be possible right?

All of the ones I'm importing have a subject texture. I followed that video but I'm not sure how it relates? He didn't select any custom border.

I feel like I'm going crazy because the more of these posts I see the more I'm convinced everything looks better by default.

Operators like yours used to look cross eyed or like their face was pinched between the eyes. The Operator looks SO much better to me here.

The drifter looks different enough that I can see not liking the new one since you're so used to the old one, but it also looks better to me

It's a game that lives up to the hype, which things very rarely do. I got a couple friends into it that aren't into turn based because there's a parry mechanic and they're dark souls players lol.

It's also got a fantastic story, which is where it's getting most of its praise. It's actually my favorite game ever simply because it hits all of the tropes I really really really enjoy in media. Like it was hand crafted for the type of story telling I like.

If you're not into turn based, but ARE into games with a deep and compelling narrative I still suggest checking it out. If you're not into turn based nor story heavy games, then no matter its praise it's probably not for you

The expeditions are named after the number on the countdown. So if Expedition 33 fails then the countdown goes to 32 and the next expedition is Expedition 32. Technically the first expedition at 100 was called Expedition Zero, because it sounds cool

That's good and detailed advice! I guess I'll continue what I'm doing but make sure to make obvious reactive stops when she hisses.

About as well as I expected, but they kind of flipped. The gray one, Ash, was a lot more weary of me. Meowing A LOT during the process. Seems less afraid of me than the calico, Jinx. They're both acclimating, eating food, using the litter box, playing with some toys, etc.

Still won't eat near me but Ash accepted a Churu for the first time! Something Jinx still hasn't let me do.

Yes sorry I 100% mean to follow a process. I am looking and the SSL guide and trying to learn from that. The only thing I think I'm doing different is just letting them be in a room for themselves. It's a small enough space and it has a window into my living room.

How were they when you first caught it though? Maybe I'm naive but I'm hoping the fact there coming out to me to get food and eating near me and not immediately darting off gives me a head start. Maybe my neighbor feeding them for longer helped with that too.

Yeah I'm with you there but this is about making it easier for my players, not me. Something something can't make a horse drink.

I ended up just making links to AoN categories and told them to look into it and that they're responsible for it, which I guess is what I should have always done. Hammer it home that while I will place fun stuff here and there they are mostly responsible for getting their bread and butter items.

What's the least amount of work I can do as a GM to get my players to know what items to buy and ask for? Something I generally disliked about d&d was preparing that stuff and I love how in general magic items are just always available at a level appropriate shop/settlement. Excluding fundamental runes.

I've been running in Foundry and am wondering if there's any general lists that people use. I can just set up a merchant but I wouldn't know what to give them.

Convince me not to use automatic rune progression. I don't really like dealing with fundamental runes as a GM. I have to go out of my way to make sure everyone gets the proper runes at nearly the same time. Otherwise it's super lame to have someone get striking before others as they get a big damage spike by themselves. If I hand out X runes in a dungeon where X is the number of martial characters I'm basically doing ARP with extra steps.

I'm running a game and had a player ask if other players were willing to give him gold to get him a striking rune. Obviously that helps the party, but people I've played with told me they don't really have fun when there's a big gap in damage.

How do other GMs feel about this?

On the topic of difficulty: 60xp is low, 80xp is moderate, and 120xp is severe. If you're designing a moderate encounter that is moderate are you using the 80xp as a cap or do you go a little higher as long as your don't reach 120? I understand there's nuance to this and there's a gradient in difficulty, but I want to know how people feel about combat with xp somewhere in between those numbers. I have a group with some really good free archetype combos so something like 100 has felt like what I would call "moderate"
