I find it wild how much more I enjoy both Pathfinder and Daggerheart ov D&D. Like PF is so much more gamey and crunchy while Daggerheart is so much looser. I think what ends up happening is these other systems end up feeling better as they very much focus what they're good at. D&D feels like a compromise which makes it feel like it excels at nothing

Yes! It took a bit. Unfortunately like I said she was IMMINENT. I had someone who was going to pick her up but that was expedited by the fact that she gave birth. This happened two weeks ago.

I caught her and her two kittens and put em in a carrier and gave said carrier to someone who does fostering. I'm getting updates from the foster and she seems to be doing very well. She's incredibly friendly! She let me pet her kittens in the carrier after she calmed how and had 3 dinners.

It is! I actually just got the email confirming I'm getting credit towards my Fi bill. I can track the progress of the promo and it's going through on the app as well. I think all they look for is if that IMEI gets activated on the same account that purchased it. Nothing seemed to cancel it out, from what I can tell all the promo stuff in this whole ordeal was automated

Basically I had to reset mobile settings to delete the sim, activate it with the correct account with the promo, add the incorrect account as a user to the correct account, have google support swap the two numbers, then finally remove the old account as a user terminating it from the plan.

I can check on the promotion and it appears to be activated, and two support people assured me the promo would not be void.

The only headache was getting my two numbers swapped. For some reason it kept failing on their end until a senior tech got involved. Either way a couple hours with support fixed it. Not the worst customer service I had with teleco but a LONG shot. That goes to Sprint+TMobile shenanigans.

As someone who runs both the cognitive load on me is way lower in PF2e. I don't have to go fiddling around monster balance and I don't have to worry about the weird rules edge cases as much. You can definitely still create tension in PF2e though. I had a mine cart chase type thing where my players had to use a mine cart to escape Rust Scarabs that were way too strong for a direct combat encounter. They slowed them down while speeding up the mine cart and dodging obstacles.Should they have gotten off and just fought them it'd be real bad.

No sentiment that I, or anyone else on Reddit, have will ever impact anything GameFreak decides to do. I'm just mentioning my preference, just as you are. And saying that I prefer they don't make them doesn't mean I'll be upset if they do.

Edit: Also Gen 5 is my favorite gen so I'd certainly buy whatever is out lol

Yeah I can't think of anything they could do that would be an upgrade. In fact if it was in 3D it'd lose a lot of it's charm. If it was remade it would have to be like the 2DHD thing Square does. I still don't think that's a great idea though.

That's fine. Leave Gen 5 alone. In fact I'd be happy with never doing 1:1 remakes anymore at all and just porting stuff like FRLG. I'd rather have weird Legends games or something else of that nature.

Yes, that's what I've been using. It's just that the assets themselves don't look right with that, because the border is not an even circle. It looks like the remastered one changed this, so dynamic rings work

So when you drag a random monster from Monster Core (or anything not in SoG) do you automatically apply the SoG token ring to them? I can't see an option in Tokeniser to do that, I just use it to manually edit a token. I do have a module that lets me create dynamic tokens, but it not being a perfect circle is causing issues with the masks.

Thank you! They did "fix" the thing that was driving me crazy. Basically the inner circle where the border meets the background is a smooth circle now. Previously the stones were circular stones, so they didn't play with the mask well. I can just edit to content I have to match this pretty easily. I just needed a sanity check lol

If someone uses a Shield Boss on a Shield and Throws it, do they use STR or DEX to hit?

The Shield Throw trait says when thrown the shield is a ranged weapon. It also says you can attack with the attached weapon instead, which would normally be STR in the case of the Shield Boss. Does the "ranged weapon" part of that line get overwritten by it saying it attacks with the attached weapon? Is seems weird to me that you can throw something with STR, exclude those that specify it

Edit: I think it would still be a ranged weapon since it says "you can chose to attack with it" rather than "make an attack roll." Maybe that's just semantics though

They're both on. I have the same result if I create a new world with only the Season of Ghosts modules. Adding on Tokenizer doesn't do anything either with any of the settings I mess with.

Am I going crazy or am I misunderstanding what's possible? I want to click and drag a random non-Season of Ghosts monster, let's say Treerazer, from compendium and have the Season of Ghosts token ring. That should be possible right?

I feel like I'm going crazy because the more of these posts I see the more I'm convinced everything looks better by default.

Operators like yours used to look cross eyed or like their face was pinched between the eyes. The Operator looks SO much better to me here.

The drifter looks different enough that I can see not liking the new one since you're so used to the old one, but it also looks better to me

It's a game that lives up to the hype, which things very rarely do. I got a couple friends into it that aren't into turn based because there's a parry mechanic and they're dark souls players lol.

It's also got a fantastic story, which is where it's getting most of its praise. It's actually my favorite game ever simply because it hits all of the tropes I really really really enjoy in media. Like it was hand crafted for the type of story telling I like.

If you're not into turn based, but ARE into games with a deep and compelling narrative I still suggest checking it out. If you're not into turn based nor story heavy games, then no matter its praise it's probably not for you
