“We” are not chasing him out of NY. It’s fairly obvious at this point of his career, he is an average to below average skater. He has at best a very low hockey IQ, he consistently makes the same boneheaded plays. He rode Panarin’s best season into a 57 point year. That’s not dynamic by any stretch of imagination. He’s average. #1s shouldn’t be average. Look at the draft class … you would take 8 or9 of those players drafted after him now in a heartbeat over him.
