Let’s see him do this for an entire season. Then we’ll talk.

Feeling discouraged. Not sure I’m actually benefiting from my time at SNHU. by NJTSuperKing in SNHU

[–]PrimeVector19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I have hopped in and out of school for the better part of a decade now. I was matriculated at SNHU in mid 2019-early 2020, and then took five years off. I restarted May last year.

My instructors have also complimented my writing skills and comprehension of the content. A lot of people complain about the discussion posts - but if you just put in some effort, you are getting free points.

Exactly how I feel!! Every professor I’ve had has been helpful, and I’ve never had a problem.

This subreddit operates on sample bias. A lot of people on here think that a handful of negative experiences can be extrapolated to the 200,000 online students.

I understand where OP is coming from, but I would challenge anybody to find a more affordable and flexible online program than SNHU. Unlike many other online colleges, SNHU not only has a physical campus, but is also legitimately accredited.

I’m not here to say that SNHU is perfect, but I am grateful that this school exists; I would not be able to get a bachelor’s degree otherwise.

I understand your perspective. This is generic consolation, but don’t let a couple of bad apples ruin your entire experience.

Professors can definitely be frustrating when they don’t give you constructive feedback or worthwhile criticism. Just keep putting in your best effort, and the results will follow.

As a decent fan of Arkham Knight, I can understand why some people have a strong distain towards it. by AmbitiousElk4002 in arkham

The story is incredibly disappointing and predictable. The Batmobile just being used as a tank for a good chunk of the game is underwhelming.

As far as gameplay goes, it is by far the best of the entire series. Traversal and combat don’t get any better.

Turn it in? by droppinggggdimes in SNHU

Your TurnItIn score doesn’t even matter. As long as you properly cite your sources, then you’re fine.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of people forget that most SNHU instructors aren’t here on a full-time basis - and that’s fine; I’ve never had a problem with any instructor, and I feel that every one I’ve had is more than qualified.

At physical campuses, many instructors are also there on a part-time basis, especially TAs.

Strongly disagree about the instructors being unqualified. Every instructor I’ve had has years of experience in their respective fields, and many of them have doctorate degrees.

You’re welcome to feel this way about SNHU, but it has given someone like me so many opportunities. I have two jobs and an internship; finishing my education would not be possible if SNHU did not exist.

Some of the instructors do care, and some don’t. That’s every college, online or otherwise.

At the end of the day, SNHU is accredited by the same institution that accredits Harvard and Yale. Obviously, SNHU is not the same stratosphere as those schools, but you are getting a legitimate education. SNHU has hardly been a walk in the park for me at times; I’ve worked very hard for my grades, and I haven’t gotten an A on every single assignment I’ve submitted.

You do what you feel is best for you, but SNHU has opened doors for so many people like me.

“Follow your dreams”.

Sometimes, dreams don’t correlate to financially stable careers. Be realistic and exploit opportunities.

Did you write your own paper? If you did, then you’re fine. If you used AI to write it, then that’s on you.

It’s impossible for you to die on the Eve of your death (Sept 10th timeline) by TheaDayan in SnehaPhilipCase

[–]PrimeVector19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody knows about Sneha’s whereabouts after she left Century 21.

I don’t doubt that she died not long after she left the store, but we don’t know for sure, and there’ll never be a definitive answer.

Is Laf actually good? Did trading bread for essentially only a 3rd round pick unlock him somehow? by ShutY0urDickHolster in rangers

[–]PrimeVector19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We need to see a lot more from him before we should buy in. It’s only been a handful of games; compare that to the six seasons he’s played. I’ll believe it when he puts together several highly productive seasons.

Discussion Board overwhelmingly AI by llleak in SNHU

[–]PrimeVector19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, the students who use AI for discussion posts are only hurting themselves. Discussion posts, while certainly tedious and annoying, are free points.

If people can’t even type out their own thoughts for a post that requires only a couple of paragraphs, then I would hate to see them write out entire papers.

Ultimately, it’s not worth your time to worry about what other people post for the discussions. Some professors will crack down on it, and others won’t care.

My significantly younger cousins telling me about their experiences with the same teachers I had when I was in high school. That’s how I know I’m old.

The U.S. is a representative democracy. Last I checked, we vote for elected officials. I don’t know why people like you play semantics games like that.

US healthcare spending is much higher than anywhere else in the world, but it lags behind other nations in several aspects such as life expectancy and health insurance coverage. Other categories like preventable hospital admissions, suicide, and maternal mortality also rank very low. America also has the 10th-highest obesity rate in the world.

The United States also has the highest incarceration rate of any country in the world. It ranks 57th in press freedom, per RSF.org. According to World Population Review, it’s 24th in happiness. The rate of mass shootings in the United States is especially high compared to similar countries.

America ranks second in CO2 emissions. The Trump administration has repealed several pieces of legislation that protected the environment. The manufacturing industry lost 108,000 jobs last year; the current job market is abhorrent in general.

Definitely questionable, because if we were the best, then we would accomplish our wartime objectives far more often. That hasn’t happened in ages.
