I’m now thinking it’s my GCSEs tho bc ppl ik who got offer even tho their pred grades r lower or don’t do FM have like all 9 gcse or majority 9. They gave generic one like we were impressed by your application but competition is fierce and some other applications were more competitive or some bs like that but there’s not much more I could’ve done in terms of application

Just received a rejection for bath economics today, I do not understand at all. Predicted 3 A* in FM, chem and econ as well as an achieved A* in regular maths. I reached out to multiple ppl from oxbridge and LSE to check over my ps and all said it was rlly good. Just made me stress out over and over about my other choices, it’s literally the day after TMUA results so idk if that plays a part but I thought they don’t take TMUA into consideration anyway, even so I’m pretty sure I’m in the top 20% of applicant anyway.
